- Henry has arrived! Our hearts are full, our brains are sleep-deprived, and our souls are ready to head home to the wilderness.
We left for the Airbnb in town a few days early to avoid a decent snowstorm headed into the cabins and ended up having our little man right on time! Labor was long and ended in a c-section but we cannot be more grateful for a healthy outcome all the way around.
Now, we are settling into the crazy life of being parents to newborns and watching the calendar until I am cleared to head to the cabins again.
I have to do a huge shoutout to Levi for being the most amazing husband and Dad. I never could have dreamed of how difficult c-section recovery could be. Without his help, I wouldn't be healing as quickly as I am and Henry wouldn't be thriving and putting those ounces back on after his rough birth. I truly couldn't be more grateful to have such a caring man. I know we can do this simply because he is by my side!
We also owe a huge thanks to Levi's parents for holding down the fort and keeping Bolt and Lucy occupied while we recover in town with our little man.
Next video we should be heading home and getting back into the off-grid swing of things after two long weeks in town!

Welcome Baby Henry! How awesome is he!?! My son and DIL are in the exact same place in time as you. They had their first child, a boy, on Nov 8, also an unexpected C Section. Hey pretty Becca ❤ Oh my what a beautiful baby you have! Gus is as big as our Tubbs only Gus has more hair! We live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and have no snow at all! We have also been breaking records here with out high temps. On Christmas it was almost 50 degrees!
