Gideon is so sweet. He keeps falling into the raised bed! The place is jamming. I’m happy to hear about more pigs coming.

Hear me on this justin.......if you have either a farm or business tax number the power companies have to make your adress axcesible! They have to raise the lines for you!. I know this because i pulled down my dadspowerlines 4 times comming home with my log truck........they tryed to get me but my dad made furniture and had a tax number that had to be deliverable........boom! Higher power lines! I cant even hit them with my backhoe they are so high......they are like 18ft high

Unfortunately their phone lines. We've called. They aren't hurrying to do anything.

Hey Justin. I love your channel and watching you and your family grow and homestead together it’s what I hope to have one day. My question is do you think it’s possible to homestead to this degree or at very least milking cow and chickens egg and meat birds while working a full time job? The reason I ask is I am not sure how I would make an income to provide for feed, Infrastructure, cream separator, incubators, and all the other things it takes to become more self sufficient. I love the idea of growing blank % of our own food but I worry that paying for things if not producing food for sale will mean working a full time job to keep the lights and electricity on etc. plus it’s nearly impossible to grow your own feed 100%. I know your a very successful UA-camr and that supplements income, and your permaculture chickens also is a money maker, but if you don’t mind me asking what other ways do you find making money to support the farm? Thanks in advance a huge fan of getting to see inside the ups and downs of y’alls lives such an awesome journey to get to follow along with you all. Thanks for all you do ! And thank you for the permaculture videos/ notes for free that was a blessing to receive from you man.

About 3/4 a gallon a day. The rest we separate for cream for cultured cream. We eat that at every meal.

Why don’t you let the chickens hatch the eggs?

What brand of incubator is that, I've been looking for one with a turning cradle since the Octogon series was discontinued.

Have you considered artificial insemination for your cows? You could pick from hundreds of bulls to match with them.

Because we're drinking the milk and making cream. Don't have any left over yet.
