We've had our share of struggles and difficult times but we do get along so well. We share the same quirky sense of humour and know each other well enough to anticipate when the other will say or do something and laugh about it. We share similar likes and hobbies, like hiking, being outdoors, photography and fishing to name a few. She truly is my best friend and I'm so very thankful she was patient enough to wait around for me lol I proposed to my wife at the Niagara Whirlpool. All she knew was we were going fishing there and I had bought a new "lure" for her. She also got shaky leg syndrome when I proposed haha

@@infjAJ I think it is maybe a combination of similar upbringings but also the fact that both personality types are creative and artistic and although they may not share exactly the same hobbies/ arts in every aspect, each one can appreciate and understand that it's what the other is passionate about.
HAI. I just finished your INFP INFJ relationship video and aghhhhh I’m so happy to see the date being 4 years and then seeing this now and it’s the lovely duo 🤭 thought i was too late. I am an INFP and my gf (Future wife) is an INFJ. We are LDR atm… but we’ve sat long enough in liking each other that I can say without a fathom of a doubt that we love each other. Theoretical video, I was looking for real intimate, informative videos to base myself off of. So happy that I found y’all and idk if it still stands that you’re interested in hearing other’s perspectives but I find it that I isolate when I have to use up my social battery. She has one too and it depletes faster than mine, but she has a way of putting on a mask till the party is over. I feel like I do the same too but she instantly asks me if I’m okay like she’s the one with her finger in my switch. We call to go to sleep and I cried(I was happy she was back) when she called me back after it accidentally disconnected. She was getting flustered but I thought about her sleep and instantly pushed my happiness down till she was asleep… then I kicked and screamed on mute.
Infp can make the first move but it's better for people to want them/making the first move especially if you're an Se user . Don't worry, infp usually like people making the first move and if the infp rejects you it will be the subtlest thing ever haha.
(INFP) first crush made me confused and overwhelmed for a while when it first started. ended up with a crush on my childhood friend. concealed it well the first six months, till it got harder to hide. i got more awkward, but as time went on it became less overwhelming. it seems like to me he likes me, and my family keeps saying he definitely does. (honestly the first time i was told he definitely likes me i was actually terrified of the idea that he likes me. i didn't feel ready for that experience back then. felt like a punch to the gut when i was told. it was pretty daunting). i have liked him like that for at least a year now. i managed to text him saying i care about him. also my best friend told him i'm kinda nervous around him. i wonder if he just doesn't want to risk asking? he has started to visit more often. maybe I just need to give it time, or maybe i'll ask in the future. he does show a lot of signs. it's less overwhelming now. i enjoy the feeling now. As a person who’s in between infp and fj. Everyone I’ve ever dated told me they liked me. I’ve only ever confessed to one person ever but only after her countless sus physical encounters only for them to reject me 🤣 I confessed to get the truth and some type of clarity on her intentions because she was playing with me a lot but I knew she wasn’t 100 percent I think it was just kinda fun for her my reactions to her and lack of reactions idk I’m haunted by the possibilities or different choices I could’ve made during that time period I know that.

Regardless of the feelings being mutual. I've been asked out once, by a gay friend of mine. Politely declined and respected that he had the cajones to send me a valentine's card. Doubly so since that was when he came out (to me at least). So yeah, massive respect to people who make the first move, regardless of the outcome. Just have to make sure this sentiment isn't an inward excuse to stay passive and try and wait for this 'ideal moment' where someone would ask me out first.

Give him a little time of freedom. If he comes on his own, it's the biggest indicator. If he don't know what he wants, and I am honest, he don't want you.
Show interest in his anxieties. If he is saying that, there are things nagging him, making him worry it wouldn't work. Maybe things he's scared to tell you because it might ruin what you already have. Tell him you'd like to talk about it. INFP males have a very feminine disposition about relationships, we're cautious, wary of being too vulernable too quickly, and tend to take things very slowly. Currently I'm getting to know someone but I'm also unsure... why? They're very political and I'm worried they just would not tolerate me disagreeing with them about their politics. I'd *like* to clarify that with them... but when I subtly suggest, "hey... something's bothering me..." they just don't pick up the signal and reply, "oh yeah, let's talk, I want to hear what you're worried about." So I'm kind of waiting for the right moment to broach the topic myself. Meanwhile... well, I don't want to go too far into an emotional rabbit hole that might end up blowing up in my face. So I'm my typical ambiguous self, not wanting to push them away, but not wanting them too close either when I don't feel secure about it. 🤷
