@Tommie, I love your energy but as soon as you mentioned your pace at the end, I was like yess - I wondered why this video was resonating a little more with me. I know youve done switch before, but maybe my slow brain just better absorbed the calmer speech. Thank you!
Tommie, great video as always. started following you and ur videos a couple weeks back as I started snowboarding this past december. Took a lesson with an instructor and now i'm confidently going on blues and linking my turns (getting my S curves). I just want some of suggestions from you. I can properly do both heel/toe edges and turn but I get nervous when I have to put my nose down straight again especially when I am on the heel. The other thing is, I'd love to see you do some videos on common injuries (not breaking bones or joints from falling but from like not properly wearing boots and stuff. Sometimes, my lead foot's peroneus (muscles above ankle) hurt. I am not sure if its caused by my improper stance or not wearing boots tight. Thank you for always giving great lessons!
Thanks Tommie. I dedicated an entire day the last session I had doing switch riding based on "feels" I definitely will take advantage of these tips. I'm pretty confident riding normal stance on alot of blues with a 12, -6 setup. I tried 15, -15 to start learning switch. Is this a good start or should I bring my setup closer to what I had before and make smaller increments?
I normally rode switch the first day I was learning because I felt way more comfortable on my heels. I was told not to do it and haven't gone back to it since riding two times since. Is it a position a beginner can go too if they don't feel too comfortable on their toes?
Not an instructor, but I would definitely recommend getting comfortable on toes asap. Falling leaf is fine but you'll be stuck as a beginner until you get toes. There are many reasons why but just as a start its way easier to carve toeside than heelside
@@dagreatghosface thank you im going to go tommorow and try to switch back and forth on this reccomendation. When I ride straight heels my calves are on fire as I go down a steep trail
This is a great video, Tommy…. And the slowing it down really helps…. Looking forward to being on the mountain this weekend….🤘🤘🤘

Love it! I’ve been working on switch the last few weeks and finally can ride comfortably down the slopes. Now trying to add jumps
Going snowboarding with some friends new at the sport and will definitely be learning switch with them on the bunny and greens
Love the pace and explanations. Will definitely use it as a reference going forward!
Thanks foe the feedback
You’re doing great, love the energy and very articulate

How long until he corrects the thumbnail😂

Don’t think you can fix it. Have to pull the video and put it back up. Lose you views on it.
It is known that I am a goody footed.
@@marktechscino, you can change thumbnails easily without removing the video
@ Inalways assumed that since there are so many bad / messed up ones.
tutorial on going straight one direction on switch? Maybe im just scared to do it
(the technique that helps you keep up speed on traverses)
neck pains from looking at the same direction all day is real, ride switch and you wont get those neck sores
Oo new video!
Lets goooo
What are the angles of your bindings?
I rock a 15/-15 stance

27 seconds ago is actually crazy
You can also practice snowboarding on a waveboard
where is this place?
Definitely read this as “How to snowboard switch 5” lol
Alleviate the slowing of the speech! Definitely need to improve my switch riding
Its totally worth it
I think the title image is meant to say goofy
its meant to be more engaging in the comments
haha, ooops
haha, def not the intention
This is just learning how to snowboard but putting switch in the title
I mean thats basically what I'm tryin to do 😂
100 agree lol
You don't talk too fast... people listen too slow!
Goody?

@tommiebennett :D i would have kept it in.
It's Right-foot forward and Left-foot forward. Your momma is "goofy."
Nah bruh, you just don’t get it
