      The reason why it's risky is because of the uncertainty you can be doing 3min comfortably every day then the next you can pass out 1min into the dive

      Those devices wouldn't work underwater as the energy they emit is absorbed by the water. Water transmits sound much better than air though so something based on sound emission might work...

    Audrey was killed by negligence! The fiancé should have been investigated and charged for her death. Whether he did it intentionally or it was a complete accident, negligence is manslaughter and he should have been tried in court!

    • @sophieophieee
      @sophieophieee 6 років тому +1

      The reason why he wasn’t tried in court is because her death happened at the Dominican Republic. In the DR, in order for an investigation to had taken place it would have to be by an immediate family member of Audrey ( her parents or pepin ) would’ve had to request for one. But none of them did. Therefore it was ruled as accidental drowning.

    • @sophieophieee
      @sophieophieee 6 років тому +3

      JayOnEarth also on the day of her dive there were many thing that raised safety concerns. Usually when diving you have two other divers on each side at certain meters. ( called the buddy system ) . One of the divers that worked for pepin and Audrey’s team had died. So they were short staffed. On the day of her dive there was a gap between her two divers. I believe that it was close to 90 meters in difference. ( I might be wrong ) because of all of these safety issues the IAFD and FREE would have posponed this dive and it would have disqualified her. But, because pepin has created his own organization with his own rules it counted and was given a green light. Not to mentioned pepin had abused her as she had bruises in one of her eyes. Also, the day of the dive by the time that they brought Her into the boat, the so call “ doctor “ turned out to be a dentist. However she did have a faint pulse. It took 30+ minutes for them to take her to the hospital where she was pronounce dead.

    Every sport is dangerous if you do it outside the infrastructure of safety but I personally think that’s not a reason to show it in such a light. After this report everyone not knowing a bit of the sport thinks that half of the divers die in the next two years.

    The ocean doesn't want you down there exploring her gems. She doesn't mind you admiring her beauty every once in awhile, but if you keep bothering her she will spit you out. You weren't born down there, so unless you are doing scientific research that will help her out or classifying aquatic life, leave the ocean alone sometimes.
