This is a great interview and very unique for the times. Andre looks like a fashion model for big & tall. I got to meet Mad Dog and he was a genuine old school wrestler and when he got wound up his voice reverberated through your body! He was a man's man. His arms were rock hard. He lost a leg in an accident before he passed away. He used to sign t-shirts, give autographs and pics at pub in Nebraska. He was very generous to kids. RIP MAD DOG
back in the mid 80's I saw Mean Gene Okerlund interview Mad Dog in his garage. Mad Dog was making a pine box coffin for his next opponent. Hilarious, those were the great days of wrestling.
Je ne me rappelle pas avoir vu André dans une émission sur TF1 ou Antenne2. André était une des plus grandes stars internationales que la France ait jamais eue,, mais complétement ignorée à la télée par les "journalistes sportifs" français.
I don't think he was standing on anything here. Mad Dog was only around 5'7" or 5'8" at the tallest. Plus, he was being interviewed in front of the live crowd, so I don't they would have tried that trick.
@@zackvanhalen probably right. I met Andre at a match in my home town in the early 70’s. He was in shape. Wore blue trunks and a suede vest with Indian styled trim. He walked through the crowd in the lobby. Shook hand and really like the crowd. I’ll never forget it.

0:25 Mad Dog: “ I Hope you had a good breakfast because you are looking at me in a weird way” André laughed at that one.
Mad Dog always sounds like he Gargled Razor Blades. He sounds more intimidating than Andre.
André clairement respectait Mad Dog, pas de doute. Un gentleman all the way!
Cool.
André sounds like a real genleman in french in contrast to how he sounds in english. Aux deux, tout mon respect
Andre always looks so comfortable and content in his native language....
If there was ever a gentle giant, it's Andre.

...Believe He was Building a casket for Crusher Blackwell and Adnan al'cassie, Then.jumped to a Molson gold commercial...
Mad dog vachon, OMG, last time I saw him was on TV when I was a kid, back when we had two channels.
Andre looks so fetching in that suit! He always did have an eye for patterns
Andre and Maurice were very good friends Andre godfather to Maurice's niece Luna Vachon
Andre sounds better in French . I have no idea when he is saying though.
He's unhappy about Ken Patera cutting his hair.
He said i dont remember but i know i was taller then the other kids..
RIP Mad Dog
Mad Dog uses that mike like Larry "Bud" Melman.
Sounds like two Muppets conversing
Both of these guys sound like my broken vacuum cleaner
RIP mon ami André
Mad dog sounds like cookie monster or Eduardo from fausters home for imaginary friends
they sound almost exactly the same lol
His brother Butcher Vachon once was one of the first to body slam Andre the Giant.

Mad Dog Vachon sounds like he eats nails breakfast, lunch and dinner
good stuff
Andre said he was invited to play NFL football but he didn't want to take the massive pay cut.
I'd love to see him whip out some of his native Polish.....
Often Andre stood on a platform to even look bigger in these interviews.
