  • Part 5 of my 1996 GQ patrol Ute revival and pat 2 of detailing this interior. If you have not yet watched the previous parts I would strongly suggest it! This time I'm rebuilding the interior of the Ute from the ground up all basically by myself including installing new headliner and sound deadening the body. Seems to have turned out to be a pretty big transformation... Enjoy!

Well done. If there's any chance you're gonna read this, please let me know what seats those are. I'm currently looking for a solution to fit 3 people in my Ute. Cheers

hi mate, this is actually the stock GQ bench seat option, they came with either a center console, or a bench seat like the one I have installed, you should be able to find a bench relatively cheap.

Thanks for your response. I think Nissan never offered a bench type passenger seat for the European market. At least I've never seen it before. But I'll do some more research. Since I'm from Germany, only possibilitie in my mind was to buy 79 series front seats, since they look like they could fit in the Patrol.
Anyways, I'll keep you updated how things are working out over here, have a good one.

@@mahannoi that is certainly possible, the bench seat ones were and still are very common over here is aus, and yes many seats could be made to fit im sure

Where did you get the head liner from? Or did you make it yourself?
Im considering making a new one for my wagon but there is a bit more material than the old ute.

I bought it from A1 roof linings, they definitely arnt a straight out of the box fit, but with a lot of time, patience, trimming, heat gunning and shaping they come out pretty good, this one took me about a week. But i think it was worth it

Sweet ill have a look. They are definitely fiddly little bastards. Did you use a special glue or just contact glue around the window frames?

@@bennyjahmin3953 I used contact glue, but it definitely needed something stronger
