I died 50 years ago in an accident. I immediately went to heaven. It is real, I saw relatives that had passed before me, and I believe God. It was soooo peaceful and fulfilling. Then the Dr brought my body back to life and I was back in it. Have faith in Jesus Christ

Wrong Jesus said “All who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth” (John 5:28, 29).
“David … is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. … For David did not ascend into the heavens” (Acts 2:29, 34).
“If I wait, the grave is mine house” (Job 17:13 KJV).
People do not go to heaven or to hell at death. They don’t go anywhere-but they wait in their graves for the resurrection.

Not so! Our bodies die but our souls never die, because it has the life of God in it. And because His life is in us, the soul can not die. The body dies but the soul goes one or two places Heaven or Hedes and later Hell if that person doesn't know Christ as Savior.

    • @faithfuljourneysbiblestories
      @faithfuljourneysbiblestories  14 днів тому

You’re absolutely right-the soul is eternal. As Jesus said, “Do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul” (Matthew 10:28). Our earthly bodies perish, but our souls live on, destined for either eternal joy with God or separation from Him. Heaven awaits those who trust in Christ, while rejection of Him leads to eternal loss. This truth is a call to embrace His grace now, for “God desires all people to be saved” (1 Timothy 2:4). Let us live in faith, hope, and love, preparing for eternity with Him. 🙏✝️

    • @ruthsmith3219

The soul can die ,a animal is also a soul. A soul is a body .what lives on is the Spirit in Man, the Software in Hardware.
Check ,what a soul is in hebrew or greece.
The Devel decives the whole world.
All this lies, Jesus never said such rubbish.

    • @karenninarudd6107
      @karenninarudd6107 7 днів тому

You forgot to finish the text. Matt 10:28 reads: and do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Clearly, God can destroy the bodies and souls of those who choose not to accept His saving grace and will do so in the lake of fire. 2 Cor 5: 3,4 is also skipped when people say “absent from the body, present with the Lord”. In verses 1-8 Paul expresses a desire to be with the Lord but tells of three states: 1) mortal body that dissolves in death,( verses 1, 2), 2) a period of being unclothed or naked ( verses 3 and 4) and 3) a further desire to be clothed again with his heavenly body (verse 8). Paul didn’t want to be unclothed or found naked. If the transition from mortal body to heavenly body is instantaneous at death, then Paul would not worry about being naked or unclothed. Paul in 1Cor 15:51-55 tells us when we will get our incorruptible and immortal body and that is at Jesus’ Second Coming.

It’s true that the full mystery of what happens after death is known only to God. What we do know comes from the Word of God, where He reveals truths about life, death, and eternity. Jesus Himself said, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live” (John 11:25). These promises give us hope and a glimpse of what awaits us beyond this life.
While no one can fully comprehend the details, Scripture guides us in faith, and we trust in God’s infinite wisdom and love. The journey is one of belief, not certainty in human terms, and that’s what makes faith so powerful. 🙏✨

That’s a profound question, and it’s natural to wonder about life after death. In Catholic faith, we trust in God’s promises revealed through Scripture. Jesus said, *“I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live”* (John 11:25). After death, we believe our souls stand before God for judgment, entering eternal life with Him or awaiting purification in purgatory.
Ultimately, our hope rests in Jesus, who conquered death to prepare a place for us (John 14:2-3). Trust in Him, and He will guide you. God bless you! 🙏✨

The only hope for the dead is the RESURRECTION. When Christ Jesus’ friend Lazarus died, Christ likened Lazarus’s death to a deep sleep. Lazarus was conscious of nothing at all, until Christ Jesus awakened him. If Lazarus was alive and conscious somewhere else, he would have definitely told others of that experience. The dead are not aware of anything nor do they feel anything. Therefore the only hope for the dead is the Resurrection.

Its a lie of the Devil.Jesus never said such a thing. All Humans have to wait their turn.

This is very simple to explain . ( 1.) When you die. Your human body stays in the coffin.
( 2.) The spirit of Life go's back to God.
( 3.) If you lived every day for the Lord Jesus Christ , repented of your sins and strived to live every day of your life for the Lord Jesus Christ. Than when you die your Soul will go directlty to live in Heaven with the Lord Jesus Christ.
( 4.) For all people that chose to live a life of sin and rejected the Lord Jesus Christ. When they die their human body will stay in the ground or coffin.
( 5 ) Their spirit of life will go back to God.
( 6 ) Their soul will be sent directly to hell for 1000 years.
( 7.) After 1000 years of living in Hell their soul will be pulled out of Hell. Than brought to the White Throne Judgement Seat of Christ. Here they will have a life review. Everything evil we have ever did is stored in our subconcious mind. No human can lie to God. After the Life Review if their name is not found in the Lambs Book of Life they will be thrown into the Second Death called the Lake of Fire.
( 8 .) Now when the Rapture of the Church takes place all Chistians that died before the Rapture of the Church their body still in the coffin will now join their Soul. This question touches on an important theological concept and has been considered deeply within Christian teaching. Here's a way to reconcile these ideas:
      ### 1. **Immediate Presence with Christ After Death**
The Bible indicates that believers are in the presence of Christ immediately after death. For example:
      - **Luke 23:43**: Jesus tells the thief on the cross, *"Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise."*
      - **2 Corinthians 5:8**: St. Paul says, *"We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord."*
These verses affirm that the soul of a believer enters a state of communion with Christ upon physical death, often referred to as the "intermediate state."
      ### 2. **The Resurrection at His Second Coming**
The resurrection refers to the future event when the bodies of the dead will be raised and reunited with their souls. This will happen at Christ’s second coming:
      - **1 Thessalonians 4:16-17**: *"For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command... and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air."*
      - **1 Corinthians 15:52**: *"For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed."*
The resurrection emphasizes the physical restoration of our bodies, glorified and fit for eternal life.
      ### 3. **Reconciling the Two**
The apparent tension can be understood by distinguishing the **soul's immediate presence with Christ** from the **future bodily resurrection**:
      - Upon death, the soul of a believer is with Christ, experiencing His presence in a spiritual way.
      - At the Second Coming, the body will be raised and glorified, completing the believer’s redemption in both soul and body, as God originally intended.
      ### 4. **A Unified Vision of Hope**
This dual understanding reflects the Catholic teaching of the *Particular Judgment* (immediate presence with Christ) and the *General Resurrection* (at the end of time). Together, they affirm our eternal destiny with Christ, both spiritually and physically.
In the meantime, we trust in God's promise that nothing-not even death-can separate us from His love (Romans 8:38-39). 🙏

As a New Born Christian of 7 yrs I can state that God once said to me, that when we read the Bible; we are also 'seen' by him! So the mere act of reading the Bible, even if you don't fully understand the words means that your effort is not going to waste. ......See, I was a 'Spiritual Medium' before my shift to being a Christian. Though I do know for a FACT that some souls sadly get stuck within a type of purgatory. I not only saw them there, but I also spoke to them. They remain human in every sense of the word, but are not at all happy. They remember their lives and try to fix the issues that initially bought them to this place at the time of their demise! Though, God has not turned his back on these lost souls, he merely hopes that with time that they can come to understand and accept what holds them from moving through the 'Light Doorway'? I suppose in many ways we might relate to this a 'Tough Love'! This is an expression that is often used by parents when dealing with a troublesome offspring!

Thank you for sharing your journey and insights. It’s powerful to hear how God has touched your life and led you to faith in Christ. The Bible indeed tells us that God’s Word is alive and active (Hebrews 4:12), and the act of reading it invites His presence and guidance, even when we don’t fully understand it.
Regarding souls and purgatory, Catholic teaching aligns with the idea that purgatory is a place or state of purification, where souls who die in God’s grace but are not yet fully purified are prepared to enter heaven. This reflects God’s mercy, giving souls the chance to be cleansed of any lingering attachment to sin (1 Corinthians 3:13-15).
Your testimony of God’s love and patience for all souls reflects His desire that no one be lost (2 Peter 3:9). His “tough love” is, indeed, an expression of divine mercy, inviting everyone to repentance and transformation through His grace.
Thank you for embracing the truth of Christ and sharing this encouragement to persevere in faith, hope, and prayer for all souls. 🙏✨

@@faithfuljourneysbiblestories Indeed, Though I am not of the catholic faith. Sadly this has likewise caused me some conflict of ideas within my own Christian Church. Within my church the accepted version for departing spirits is that they go immediately into a state of sleep? Awaiting Judgement!
Though I can confirm without any doubt that whilst in a meditative state on three occasions I have walked in this place of utter desolation and fear. This place exists. Though I was glad not to have to stay there! God told me that this place was called Hades. God has accompanied me on each occassion for the purpose of helping confused spirits to move into the light. God has always stood behind me and just to the right hand side!

As soon as one in Christ closes their eyes for the very last time, immediately they’re with the Lord in the ‘third heaven’. The people in the early biblical church called the death of those in Jesus as ‘going to sleep’(sleeping). Apostle Paul said “absent from the body is to be present with the Lord”, when you’re not alive in the flesh you’re with God. We struggle through life’s process and challenges trials and tribulations, but, in Christ, at death we are ‘right away’ in the presence of God, there’s no waste of time at death being on the other side in heaven. Just as when Peter was walking on water and then beginning to sink called on Jesus, and Jesus reached out to save him from going under the water, then both of them entered the boat together and ‘immediately’ the boat reached the other side(John 6:21).🙏🏼👍😇

What does the video argue is the ultimate authority on the topic of life after death?

    • @faithfuljourneysbiblestories
      @faithfuljourneysbiblestories  14 днів тому

The video likely argues that **the Bible** is the ultimate authority on the topic of life after death. Scripture is often presented as the divinely inspired Word of God, offering teachings and promises about eternity, judgment, heaven, hell, and resurrection. Passages like John 11:25-26, Luke 16:19-31, and Revelation 21:1-4 are frequently cited to explain the Christian understanding of what happens after death.
If you’re referencing a specific video, feel free to share more details, and I can refine the response!

Can you tell me is it okay to be cremated not buried? Is it anywhere in the Bible. I would really want to know this. Thank you.

    • @faithfuljourneysbiblestories
      @faithfuljourneysbiblestories  3 дні тому

Yes, I can help with this. The question of cremation versus burial is one that many faithful Christians ponder, and it’s worth examining both Scripture and Catholic teaching for guidance.
      ### **Is Cremation Mentioned in the Bible?**
The Bible does not explicitly forbid or promote cremation. In biblical times, burial was the common practice. For example:
      - The patriarchs, like Abraham (Genesis 25:9-10) and Jacob (Genesis 49:29-33), were buried.
      - The burial of Jesus is described in the Gospels (Matthew 27:59-60).
However, there are a few accounts in the Bible that mention burning a body. For instance:
      - Saul and his sons were cremated after their deaths (1 Samuel 31:12), likely to prevent their bodies from being desecrated.
      - Burning was sometimes associated with judgment or punishment (e.g., Leviticus 20:14), but this is not the same as cremation for burial purposes.
Overall, the Bible emphasizes the resurrection of the body (e.g., 1 Corinthians 15:42-44) but does not specify a required method of caring for the body after death.
      ### **What Does the Catholic Church Teach About Cremation?**
The Catholic Church traditionally preferred burial because it reflects Christ’s burial and emphasizes the resurrection of the body. However, the Church has permitted cremation since 1963, provided it is not chosen for reasons contrary to Christian doctrine.
The key points in Catholic teaching are:
      1. **Respect for the Body:** The body is a temple of the Holy Spirit and should be treated with dignity, whether buried or cremated (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).
      2. **Belief in the Resurrection:** Cremation must not be chosen as a rejection of the resurrection of the body.
      3. **Proper Handling of Ashes:** The Church requires that ashes be kept together and buried in a sacred place, such as a cemetery or columbarium. Scattering ashes or keeping them at home is not permitted because it does not honor the sacredness of the remains.
Cremation is acceptable in the Catholic Church, as long as it is done respectfully and with faith in the resurrection. Burial is still encouraged because of its connection to Christian tradition and the example of Christ.

hank you for pointing to these passages, which highlight the distinction between the body and the soul in Scripture:
Genesis 35:18,29: Rachel’s soul is described as departing as she dies, and Isaac’s passing is mentioned with the phrase "gathered to his people," suggesting a continuation beyond physical death.
1 Kings 17:21-23: The prophet Elijah prays for the child’s soul to return, and the boy is brought back to life, emphasizing that the soul exists apart from the body.
Matthew 17: At the Transfiguration, Moses and Elijah appear with Jesus, indicating that the soul remains conscious and active after physical death.

“David … is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. … For David did not ascend into the heavens” (Acts 2:29, 34).
“If I wait, the grave is mine house” (Job 17:13 KJV).

Don't believe everything you see and hear. Your job is to read and study Scripture YOURSELF! Do not let ANYONE lead you astray. Let the Father and Son interpret scripture for you. Read and study, that is the only way. Scripture tells US to not trust man, at least 13 times. When Scripture tells you something more than once, they want you to remember, follow up and live Scripture. IF you study original texts, you will see that on the cross, Yeshua told the robber this.....( I tell you today, you will be with me in paradise.) NOT " I tell you that today you will be with me in paradise" Makes a big difference. This video will lead you astray. Satan has been at work for thousands of year's destroying the FATHERS creation. He has deceived EVERYONE on earth. If you study with an honest desire to learn, the Father and Son will open your eyes and ears to the righteous truth. NO video, Pod cast, TV show, pastor, preacher or Pope can lead you to the truth. They only teach you THEIR OWN interpretation which 99999 times out of 100000 will NOT be true.

Salvation through Jesus Christ is a gift of grace, freely given to all who believe. Scripture assures us of this truth: *"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9).*
As for the fear of hell, remember that God’s desire is for everyone to be saved: *"God is patient...not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9).*
Jesus died and rose again to give us hope, not despair. If you trust in Him and follow His teachings, you can rest in the promise of eternal life: *"There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus" (Romans 8:1).*

If you would accept and agree, kindly permit me to explain the meaning of Jesus Christ's atonement for our sins on the cross of Calvary for our salvation. The true meaning of his paschal sacrifice on the cross.
There's a place call purgatory. To penetrate heaven, the faithful has to be holy, made perfect, cleansed. In a nutshell, the faithful must have the Holy Spirit meant to be poured out only to those who obey God and do his will.

Thank you for your kind offer to share the profound meaning of Jesus Christ's atonement. His sacrifice on Calvary is central to our salvation, opening the path to eternal life and reconciliation with God. The concept of purgatory, as taught in Catholic tradition, reflects God’s mercy and justice-allowing souls to be purified and made holy before entering Heaven.
Indeed, the Holy Spirit is the gift and guide for those who seek to do God’s will, leading us toward perfection in Christ. I’m grateful for your willingness to share this truth. May we always walk in faith and obedience to His divine plan. 🙏✨

Thank you for your video. However, from my understanding this main verse is causing confusion. *We need to examine this closely...* Because we know that Jesus died on Friday, was buried, and remained in the grave until His resurrection on Sunday. Therefore, Jesus could not in Paradise with the thief on Friday. Additionally, after His resurrection, Jesus told Mary that He had NOT yet ascended to the Father. It's also important to note that the original scriptures lacked punctuation; however, those who transcribed them into English added a comma before the word TODAY instead of after.
We must read and take into account what *Jesus said* in various situations:
    *JESUS RAISES A LITTLE GIRL*
*LUKE 8:52-56:* 'Now all wept and mourned for her; but He said, "Do not weep; *she is not dead, but sleeping.”* And they ridiculed Him, knowing that she was dead. But He put them all outside, took her by the hand and called, saying, “Little girl, arise.” Then her spirit returned, and she arose immediately.'
    *JESUS RAISES LAZARUS*
Also, Jesus raised LAZARUS from the dead. He could not have done this if LAZARUS was already in Heaven.
*John 11:11* "Then he said, 'Our friend *Lazarus has fallen asleep* but now I will go and wake him up'"
*John 11:12* "The disciples said, 'Lord, if he is sleeping, he will soon get better!'"
*John 11:14* "So then he told them plainly, 'Lazarus is dead"
*John 11:23* Jesus told her, “Your brother will live again!”
*John 11:24* Martha answered, “I know he will be raised to life on the last day, when all the dead are raised.”
*John 11:25* Jesus then said, “I am the one who raises the dead to life! Everyone who has faith in me will live, even if they die.
*John 11:26* And everyone who lives because of faith in me will never really die. Do you believe this?”
*John 11:27* “Yes, Lord!” she replied. “I believe you are the Christ, the Son of God. You are the one we hoped would come into the world.”
    *JESUS THE RESURRECTION & LIFE*
*JOHN 11:25-26:* Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die." "Will never die" is future tense.
*Ecclesiastes 9:5* "For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing; they have no further reward, and even their name is forgotten."
This means... Our loved ones, who have passed, are no longer conscious or aware of anything, including the passage of time. They are simply sleeping until Jesus resurrects them.
*1 Corinthians 15:51-53:* "Look, I tell you a mystery. We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the blink of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and *the dead will be raised* imperishable and we will be changed."
*1 Thessalonians 4:17:* "Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds *to meet the Lord in the AIR,* and so we will always be with the Lord."
This is very *good news* that all who live for Christ will put on the immortal, live with Christ Jesus and Creator God, and never die again!
~peace & blessings to you, Carrie

Those two scriptures felt contradictory to me. At my brother's passing and looking for peace and trying to understand I came to the time when Jesus told the theif. today you will be in paradise, and I felt comforted. Yet I recalled the scriptures you mention of sleeping until God returns for those in Christ. I agree translations have omitted and or moved punctuation and we should be mindful of that. Your breakdown is helpful. Thank you

The LORD JÉSUS did say..."Lazarus is asleep and must go wake him up.
The LORD JÉSUS said this because Lazarus was dead.
Therefore, when a person dies, it means that they are sleeping until our creator GOD, KING, LORD, MASTER and SAVIOR, which comes to wakes them all up.
My mom passed away back in September 2024 and in a way I am glad that she is not here because of all the terrible things that will happen here in the earth when the LORD commands his 7 angels to pour out the cup of his WRATH upon all humanity.
May the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY ALL POWERFUL GRANT me VICTORY, COURAGE and STRENGTH to never deny my MASTER the LORD of lords, KING of kings, GOD of gods, the HOLY of holies whose name is above all names the LORD JÉSUS who died, was resurrected and who now lives forever and ever.

As Christians, we trust in the ultimate authority of God’s Word to guide our understanding of life, death, and eternity. How about the bodies that have recomposed?

    • @faithfuljourneysbiblestories

Yes, according to Catholic teaching, all bodies-no matter their earthly condition-will be resurrected and glorified by God’s power at the end of time. This resurrection is not limited by the state of the body, for nothing is impossible for God.
      St. Paul assures us:
*"So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown corruptible; it is raised incorruptible. It is sown dishonorable; it is raised glorious. It is sown weak; it is raised powerful."* (1 Corinthians 15:42-43)
God, who created us from nothing, will restore and glorify us, uniting body and soul in perfect harmony for eternity. 🙏✨

The story of Lazarus and the rich man (Luke 16:19-31) illustrates the need for repentance and mercy in this life. Similarly, Jesus’ promise to the thief on the cross (Luke 23:43) reveals His boundless mercy and the immediacy of eternal life with Him.

The story you're referring to-the separation of the righteous and unrighteous after death-comes from **Luke 16:19-31** in the New Testament. This is often called the *Parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus*. In this passage, Jesus illustrates the eternal consequences of our choices in life. Lazarus, the poor man, is carried by angels to Abraham's bosom (a place of peace), while the rich man finds himself in torment, separated from God.
Regarding different Bibles: While there are various translations (e.g., NIV, KJV, ESV, etc.), the core stories and teachings remain consistent because they are drawn from the same inspired texts. Differences lie mostly in language style, not meaning.
If you’re exploring Scripture, I recommend starting with a Catholic Bible, like the **New American Bible (NAB)** or **Revised Standard Version - Catholic Edition (RSV-CE)**, as these include all books accepted by the Church.
If you ever feel unsure about a passage, feel free to ask-God’s Word is there to guide us all. 🙏📖

The Bible Biblical instructions before leaving Earth

    • @faithfuljourneysbiblestories
      @faithfuljourneysbiblestories  14 днів тому +1

The phrase **"Bible: Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth"** is a popular acronym that highlights the Bible’s role as a guide for living a life of faith and preparing for eternity. While this acronym isn’t found in Scripture, it reflects the essence of God’s Word: providing wisdom, direction, and hope for believers.
Some key "instructions" from the Bible include:
      1. **Love God and others**: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart...and your neighbor as yourself" (**Matthew 22:37-39**).
      2. **Seek salvation through Christ**: "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved" (**Acts 16:31**).
      3. **Live righteously**: "Be holy, because I am holy" (**1 Peter 1:16**).
      4. **Share the Good News**: "Go and make disciples of all nations" (**Matthew 28:19**).
      5. **Trust God in all things**: "Lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him" (**Proverbs 3:5-6**).
      6. **Prepare for eternity**: "Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things" (**Colossians 3:2**).
The Bible equips us with spiritual truths to navigate this life and prepares us for the hope of eternal life with God. It is the ultimate guide for a life of faith, love, and purpose. 🙏📖✨

Be careful...nothing impure of unatoned sins enters Heaven immediately. Read what Jesus says
about some for of purgatory. It's in the Bible...clearly!

    • @faithfuljourneysbiblestories
      @faithfuljourneysbiblestories  14 днів тому

You're absolutely right that Scripture emphasizes the need for purification before entering Heaven. Jesus Himself alludes to this in **Matthew 5:25-26**, where He speaks of settling accounts and being released only after "paying the last penny." Additionally, **1 Corinthians 3:13-15** speaks of a testing fire that will purify the works of believers, ensuring that only what is worthy remains.
The concept of purgatory aligns with God’s justice and mercy, providing a state of cleansing for those who die in God’s grace but are not yet fully purified. It’s a reminder to live with a repentant heart and continually seek His forgiveness, as nothing impure can stand before His holiness (**Revelation 21:27**).
Let us strive to follow Jesus’ teaching and trust in His grace, praying for the purification of all souls. 🙏✨

Why don't people go the Bible and get the truth about Hedes and hell because this not the truth about Hedes.

    • @faithfuljourneysbiblestories
      @faithfuljourneysbiblestories  14 днів тому

You raise an important point about seeking the truth directly from the Bible. The term *Hades* is used in Scripture to refer to the realm of the dead or the place where souls go after death, before the final judgment. It is distinct from *Hell* (Gehenna), which is described as the eternal place of punishment for the unrighteous after the Last Judgment.
      Here are some key references:
      - **Hades**: In Luke 16:23, the rich man is in torment in Hades, a temporary state before the final judgment.
      - **Hell**: Jesus speaks of Gehenna as the final place of eternal punishment (Matthew 25:41; Mark 9:43).
The Bible teaches that Hades is temporary, as Revelation 20:14 says that “Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire,” symbolizing the end of this intermediate state. The final judgment determines eternal destiny: Heaven for the redeemed and Hell for those who reject God.
Studying Scripture directly helps us discern these truths, and I encourage everyone to explore the Word deeply, guided by prayer and sound teaching. 🙏📖

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. It’s true that many people struggle with perceived contradictions in the Bible. However, often these arise from differences in interpretation, translation, or context. Taking time to study Scripture deeply and prayerfully, with historical and cultural understanding, can provide clarity.
You're absolutely right that living a life of love, integrity, and kindness aligns with God’s call for us. The Bible emphasizes these principles: “Love your neighbor as yourself” (Mark 12:31) and “Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart” (1 Samuel 16:7).
Faith is a journey of seeking truth, and God invites all of us to come to Him with open hearts and minds. Let love and goodness guide us always. 🙏✨

Your interpretation highlights a key biblical truth about the resurrection and Jesus' return. The Bible indeed teaches that immortality is a gift given through Jesus Christ at the time of the resurrection. In **1 Corinthians 15:52-54**, Paul explains that the dead will be raised incorruptible, and those who are alive will be changed, as “this perishable body must put on imperishability, and this mortal body must put on immortality.”
Until that day, the dead are described as “asleep” (1 Thessalonians 4:13-17), awaiting the trumpet call of Christ to awaken them. Satan does work to deceive and confuse (2 Corinthians 4:4), but God’s Word offers clarity and hope: through Christ, eternal life is promised to all who believe in Him.
Let us hold firm to this hope, trusting in Jesus, who alone has the power to conquer death and grant us life everlasting (John 11:25). 🙏✨

While the word "purgatory" isn't explicitly mentioned in the Bible, the concept aligns with Scripture's teaching on purification. For example, **1 Corinthians 3:13-15** speaks of a testing by fire to reveal the quality of one's works. The Church understands purgatory as God's merciful process of cleansing the soul to prepare it for Heaven, as nothing impure can enter God's presence (Revelation 21:27). It reflects His love and justice, offering hope for those on the path to eternal life. 🙏✨

Thats why I don't follow the bible, too many human theories amongst the bible. The first text of the bible wasn't even written from 60 to 100 years until after the crucifixion of Christ; thats a 60-year difference of time making enough time for interpretation of the bible, to be fallible or for one's interpretation to be in error. For as many times the Bible has been revised over the last 1900 years from the original Egyptian text, Greek text, Hebrew text, and the old and New Testament of the King James Bible, if you believe the New Testament king James bible we have today reads as the same as the original text from 1900 years ago, from time after time alterations of the bible, then I would call you a liar.

    • @faithfuljourneysbiblestories
      @faithfuljourneysbiblestories  13 днів тому

Your concerns about the Bible's transmission and interpretation are valid and have been shared by many throughout history. Here’s a thoughtful perspective:
The Bible, as we have it today, is the result of a meticulous process. Scholars and scribes have worked diligently to preserve the texts with incredible care, especially in the original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek manuscripts. While there have been translations and revisions, the central message-the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and God's plan for salvation-remains consistent.
The time gap you mention between the events of Christ’s life and the writing of the Gospels is a known historical reality. However, the oral tradition in that culture was strong, with communities memorizing teachings and events with great precision. Additionally, we have thousands of early manuscripts, like the Dead Sea Scrolls and New Testament fragments, that help verify the Bible's accuracy over time.
Faith in the Bible doesn't rest solely on the human process but on the belief that the Holy Spirit has guided its preservation, making it trustworthy for teaching, correcting, and guiding us (2 Timothy 3:16).
Ultimately, the Bible isn't just a historical document-it’s an invitation to encounter God. I encourage you to keep seeking and questioning; God meets us in our search for truth. 🙏
