Michgan State University Dairy Extension Educator Paola Bacigalupo Sanguesa speaks with Dr. Pablo Silva, a researcher at Teagasc in Ireland about automnatic milking systems. Dr Silva has worked with AMS in Chile, USA, and Ireland and has more than 10 years of experience in the dairy industry. They discussed different strategies to increase efficiency during milking and to motivate voluntary visits. It is important to both optimizing the milking of each cow and focus on the efficiency of the robot.
