EJ is *_very_* proactive and feisty ~vs~ Pine Marten. It broke my heart to see Aila unable to defend effectively, and I was reminded how the Tawny Owl scared her so badly that she stayed off the nest for the first 2 nights of egg #1 last season. I don't love her any the less for it tho, she and Louis were wonderful parents to Lachlan and I thought they'd raise 3 to fledging this season.
