Every year I look forward to breaking out the Christmas boxes to decorate my apartment! This year I decided to splurge a bit and get a new tree alongside some new decor as I've bene using the same stuff for around 6 years! The new couch orientation is a really good idea. The focus is conversation and socialization, but everyone is still able to admire the decor or watch TV.

I feel like this year a lot of people are going away from over the top Christmas decorations to some spread out light touches and I am loving it 🥰 not a lot of people have the budget to put up a bunch of garlands all over their houses, thus seeing all the minimalistic touches gives me so much inspiration ❤
I use to love a "maximalist" Christmas but something about this year really screamed minimal! I love the tones of Christmas without it being overwhelming!

when i worked at a greenhouse we used a small piece of cardboard under our decor pumpkins to prevent too much of the nasty happening over time. it doesn't prevent degredation entirely but it can help to prolong the life of your pumpkins underside.

When my kids were little I did the traditional over the top oh so bright whimsical Christmas decorations just because I loved how it made their faces light up with joy but now that they are all grown and have their own homes the minimalist christmas decorating style has become my Christmas theme now that's its just me and my husband.
Here I am watching Drew decorating his place for Christmas while celebrating Chanukah. It shows what a dedicated follower I am. Also, proof of how talented and entertaining Drew’s videos are.

If you go to a Christmas tree lot they make a wreath or garland out of the boughs of a tree. It smells wonderful and gives the smell of Christmas.
Christmas has always been my very favorite time of the year. I've never been good at decorating and bringing it all together. But I always made sure the living room was cozy. My favorite thing to do was to bring down the lights, turn on the tree and either listen to holiday music or watch a Christmas Movie. I have to say, this is the first day of my 59th year and I would like to just sit in your living room with the lights low, tree and candles lit with holiday music playing. Thank you for always bringing me to a calm and soothing place in all of your decorating videos. Have a great holiday season!

I also love the new orientation of the living room. It really opens the space up. I’ve always liked how 2 sofas look across from each other with a coffee table in the middle. Great conversation setting. Everything looks great. Love your color theme.

Love the new orientation and tree! It's a very comfortable vibe and not overdone. I think your tree collection (the ones that would fit) would also look good on the windowsill as an alternative to on the bench with a garland over the window like you did over the dining arch.

Love your new tree! I want a different natural open tree this year too. Going to do a real one I think. I live in a 100 year old rental apartment and of course the gas fireplace has been closed off. I have a fake crackling log that is on a traditional iron log holder with a great screen in front. It makes for a cozy atmosphere in winter. It doesn't look cheap. Your fireplace is so pretty it may look nice . Thanks for your videos and the light you bring to the world!
I really wanted to do a real tree this year as well however with filming and uploading I wanted to get this up earlier than later so I had to resort to a faux tree! I love the tree though so it's great I can reuse for years to come :)

I'm never sure where your styles are going and then I see the end results and it's like wow.
A lot of people are going for fuller, fluffier, flocked trees and I was wondering why your's was more bare, but the white curtains behind the tree give the illusion of snow, fill up the space, highlight the ornaments, bring it altogether with a wow factor.
Personally I would put a tree in the middle of your dining table centrepiece to add more dimension.

We do nativities! It’s just that there are a lot of people who do secular Christmas for various reasons.

I like the simplicity of the tree because we live somewhere where we can go find a tree ourselves and they are always very sparce (as in they are perfect and natural), but it is hard to find great decoration ideas.
Looks very nice and festive! Last year I dried some oranges and hung them outside on a wire line that connects two trellises. They were really nice with the morning sun glowing through them. Then one day I was looking out and a squirrel was eating all the dried oranges! I have a bird feeder out there too and add greenery once people throw out their Christmas trees. It's all beautiful with snow! A little Christmas wonderland on my balcony.

I just started watching your show on UA-cam and I have watched every single episode the last one I watch was you remaking your apartment for Christmas. It was beautiful and the tree is the type of tree I’ve always wanted. A real ball hanging tree because it’s sparse so all the ornaments can lay correctly. I also watched your episode about your anxiety and I so can relate. I am praying for you and I know things will turn out right. Im 66 and follow you. i love that your holiday decor is really decor! Except for tree itself, a bit of garland and stockings, maybe a few family nostalgia vintage it drives me crazy when some have 3 santas, 10 elves, every pillow is red and green, wreaths all over and christmas dinnerware.
