dude that whole fucking e3 presentation. we got the last guardian in the beginning and everyone was like "ok that's it good show". then they showed this and everyone went ecstatic. no one would've ever guessed to see FUCKING SHENMUE 3 BABY. holy i still get chills
The reactions are priceless, mine own wasn't at all different. Was 18 in 97' now 40 I was in tears. Really is the greatest video game of all time #FF7. #March3rd2020
I was at work watching the e3 live stream and when it hit I lost my shit. I laughed, I cried, I hugged the other people watching it. I was 13 when it came out and it quickly became one of if not my all time favorite games. I had to come today to relive the joy I felt then after Kitase announced that it’s delayed until April
Right there with you, brother. I was 22 with a new born baby. Now I'm 46 and my baby is now a military officer - and everytime I see this video I feel like I'm that young all over again.
I was 24 in 97 and had already played a ton of rpgs/jrpgs before FF7. No game has made such a memorable impact before or after. Sure games have come out since then that have been bigger in most aspects because of advanced technology and more experienced programmers. But the only time i can say that a better game than FF7 came out is when the remake gets fully completed...that is if the other parts don't get ruined.

Can't believe it's been 5 years already since this announcement. I have now played the game more than once and every so often I watch these reactions and I still get emotional
I know that this reveal/reaction video is old, but I always come back to it to get a quick smile. How else can you see people in their 30s and 40s immediately smile and be happy like they were teens or 20-somethings again in such a positive way?
While being surrounded by all the negative drama on the internet and around the world i go back to this. Gives me something to hold on to seeing these people filled with joy.
Remember dad was playing this with the 4 year old me. Since then i couldn't see my dad for years. Up to 12 years i wasn't allowed to play any video games by mom... had a hard time there. Everytime i visited my dad, my whole family, dad, uncle Norman, my aunt Tini, my grandma where sitting on one couch and watched as one of them played FinalFantasyVII. Dad explained everything and i watched with big eyes. This was the time i could forget everything and all my problems i had by mom. Just sitting in the middle of the whole family that gives me so much love and laughed and had fun with me. I raged when the remake came out. When i see this, my nerves are fkin ragin and im crying like a waterfall...
Man I really wish I played final fantasy 7 before this was announced, I always meant to play it and I did actually start it before the remake was announced but i long to be this excited for a game.
I get tears in my eyes watching this lol; only thing that would get me more emotional would be if Nintendo put this kind of love and attention to detail into a remake of an older LoZ game like Link's Awakening. It'll probably take like 20 years but I hope they eventually do a remake of VIII, too; that one's my personal favorite
I lost my mind and cried when this happen. Me and my brother were like "OMG SERIOUSLY??" XDD I' might never have that same reaction to E3 again..we shall see lol
Lost your mind then? Maybe you'll have another relapse at this E3 when they show more (finally). I'm assuming you already saw the teaser clip from a week ago. Seems now that they finished up FFXV and KH3, they've finally thrown their weight into actually getting this game done.
it'll probably be another two or three or four years when they actually come out with a game and I'm saying it right now on this comment section it will probably be the biggest midnight release in video game history
Its being released in installments also because they want to remake every single thing of the original. What i hope is they don't make side quests which were free, paid dlc instead. Cause i still will pay for it.
Literally missed the boat on the Final Fantasy series and never played 7...Played a fair amount of 9 which I enjoyed. With that...I still couldn't help get a big grin by watching the reactions....I have a select few games that are dear to me and can relate despite this not being in my nostalgia world. Great vid....I think ill grab this when it comes to the master race 😁
Watching this year's after the announcement and months after finishing part 1 and still in tears watching and remwmbering that joy that this news brought to all of us.
FF 7 was the first game back then where i felt an emotional attachement. I've played games before, Zelda, Mario, Sonic etc you name it i was from this generation that gamed in the end of the 80's. And while they gave me emotions, like adrenaline and joy, none really did hit me in a deep emotional sens, they where great and i loved them, but once i would turn off the console, thats it, i would not think about it until i decided to play it again or talk about it with a friend. FF7 WAS the game where i totaly became obsessed with for weeks, i would loose sleep over it, i would think about it nearly 24/7 trying to beat it and putting togheter the story elements and the impact they had on my emotional state. It is the first game, that sucked me in its world and that i wanted to Explore EVERYTHING about it. So seeing this, even tho i've played it a couple of times allready since its release, it still makes me cry.
Never gets boring watching fellow fans react to the announcement. I was 7 years old when final fantasy 7 dropped and I never thought I’d see the day where I’d be able to play it all over again
