I love the english sky, sometimes there are no clouds (that's when we are having our 2 weeks of summer), sometimes they are a lot of clouds (it's raining, which it almost always is.), and sometimes it's beautiful, just like in this video.
Great video as always. I just love looking at those engines do their thing. Thanks for the video and thank you for answering my question about the lounges. I think I never thanked you for that. Apologies. 👍🏽
Being that I live 40 miles south, Seeing this thing is a day to day basis for me, along with Delta 777s, Norwegian 737s, Ryanair 737s, Virgin Atlantic 747s and a330s and Easy Jet a320s and a319s
+Geoff Peterson - ...and I suppose you have a place in London? ...have get-togethers and throw beads at each other??? How are you getting along since Craig Ferguson retired?
I put a video on my channel of an a320 take off with the 6s, but the sound is not really what I expected. What would you suggest me to have much more realistic sound ? Great views btw :D
I am currently doing my type rating for this aircraft. I am the captain of the 777-300ER. But after i was shown around this aircraft. It cried out fly me....... So, hopefully in a few more hours time I will be type rated on it.
You can fly LATAM's 787s from between MAD and FRA for £100 in Business Class. If you just wanna fly the Dreamliner for cheap, that's the best way. I've done it once, it was an amazing experience. Otherwise Air France will fly its first 787 between Paris and LHR in February for crew training, starting at around £80 in Economy if I remember well.
Incredible vid! Norwegian is probably my least favourite airline in the world, due to their [interesting] livery and strange route network....very strange...I mean EXTREMELY STRANGE! Who serves Boston with a 737 to some European island in Central America? Only they would :P Regardless of my opinions, I liked the footage. Good day!
Canadian Plane Spotter I think I know what you mean by "interesting" lol. Norwegian has a flight path right over a public park on it's way to FLL and I remember hearing some kids make some crude remarks about it.
No comprendo porque la camara tiene que enfocar el motor o el ala si pudiendo efocar hacia adelante qué es lo mas aceptable qué deberia enfocar es mi pensar gracias.
That sound on the reverse thrust! Omggggg
It's so overwhelming :))
Night Hawk beautiful noise
it has to because gatwick runaways aren't that big :D
@@techlover4500 10,883 feet mate. 2nd longest in england
That landing was pretty dang smooth.
Just when I thought your footage couldn't get any better....DAMN DANIEL!
What a perfect view. Rakes on the engine, wing flex galore and the beautiful view of the blades in a awesome RR engine. Thanks
Is it really that quiet inside? Amazing. Beautiful wing.
yes it is, even behind the engine
if ur sitting behind the engine u dont even hear the takeoff sound
Yes, the 787s have engines that are more fuel efficient and 60% quieter
Smooth landing!
but loud reverse thrust!

Damn, that engine never ceases to amaze me on how you barely hear any grumble at all
Very smooth landing and a great reverse thrust sound! Perfect seat for hearing it too.
Stunning approach and landing Dan!
Stunning video. That touchdown was immaculate!!!
so quiet! and those villages are stunning!
Now that was a smooth landing!
it's a dreamliner indeed! what a machine
What a nice set down. Very smooth landing.
Beautiful, soft, silent landing. Can't wait to fly on an A350.. Great video !
Perfect video as always. Perfect view!
Brilliant video, one of the best ever.
GORGEOUS!!!

That was quite a taxi at Gatwick.

the reverse thrust
this has me captivated...!!
Awesome video! Love the angle of the engine view! May I ask you what settings you used on our iPhone for filming? 4K or 1080p with 30fps?
Thanks man! 1080p with 30fps :)
Thanks a lot! That camera quality is surprisingly good :-)
Should really use 1080p@60fps. Looks so much better. This still looks great though.
LOVELY LANDING.
Nice large window!
This aeroplane is so smooth doesn't seem to have much turbalance
The flexing wings act as a dampener.
Looks as if it's rolling down a dusty street. Smooth!!!!!
beautiful!!!
Wow!! You must have a really good camera, because every other flight video I've watched, you can't hear the reverse thrust
Awesome video!
WOW SMOOTH LANDING ...
BEAUTIFUL ROLLS ROYCE ENGINES.LOVELY SOUND.WHICH ISENT MUCH SOUND AT ALL! KIND OF A HUM.
Awesome video, very smooth landing! Did you have something to hold the phone on the window or were you holding it?
Dan.... you're professional guy in filming thanks for sharing another great clip
Excellent plane
Nice video, an iphone 6s can shoot like this raw? The goal posts have been moved.
Is it really this quiet in the cabin?
Tom Peters yeah I Wonder too ? the engine too quiet :o
The engines are one of the quietest around at the moment :)
yeah they better add some sounds or you won't hear them come :D
I put a video on my channel of an a320 take off with the 6s, but the sound is not really what I expected. What would you suggest me to have much more realistic sound ? Great views btw :D
awesome
Awesome approach video. Would like a bit more audio.

That's great Gareth! Congratulations and happy flying.
Amazing. I thought 777 pilots don't need a typerating for the 787? Or is the training just shorter than usual?
My lord this pilot must be a neurosurgeon!!! Captivating video pal...good times!!!
Muito bom

Ohh yes I've heard the remarks ;)
United Airlines serve a lot of Asian cities and east Pacific islands using 737s from Guam.
You're probably pissed because Norwegian couldn't care less about Canada
I don't want them here! The livery sucks

Very quiet

Rolls Royce engines. I see Boeing spreads the wealth to other nations, in this case, the UK.
i see mostly RR engines, does anyone know the ration of how many GE and how many RR?
What`s with all the sniffing.
