One of those few "I was there" occasions where you felt quite privileged to have witnessed it. Remembering him from the first matches and thinking "this guy is something quite unique" and to see him develop into a legend, producing so many legendary moments, and picking up a nice northern accent as time went on. Thanks for all the memories, Ole, you are sorely missed at United.
I love how the media always talks about him like he's this incredibly "nice guy", but all the players who used to play against him (Keown etc) all say the same thing: He was a fierce competitor who wasnt afraid to play dirty to win, and rightly so. Great player who epitomised the Man Utd mindset of that era.

Remember Ole was a super sub very intelligent and saw the game for many years from the bench he was always in the game playing even tho he was on the bench and when called into action made an impact instantly now when you see him manage you can see that he is born to manage yes there is doubters but you can never underestimate Ole he is a genius that’s why it’s no suprise they are developing well over Ole
