Listening to how M. Shadows voice singling with Synyster Gates on back up vocals is like listening to Axl Rose with Duff McKagen on back up vocals, both pair of vocals are a match made in Heaven to listen to.
There are so many great genres out there, people who only listen to one genre are limiting themselves. I applaud A7X because through their covers I've discovered a lot of great bands like Mr. Bungle.
I'm so glad Avenged Sevenfold covered a Mr. Bungle song. They chose the perfect one to cover, too. Wouldn't have wanted them to try anything from the self-titled album or Disco Volante... Their take on Goodbye Sober Day would've been interesting to see, though.
Brings smile to my heart for these guys to started this band as teenagers to becoming mature adults, having to go through the dark times such as losing jimmy to shine out of that dark times and become more successful than ever and still having fun. Of course with memory of jimmy but his spirit still shines in a7x. Love these guys for life. So happy brooks is with them. He's such an excellent drummer. Feels perfect imo

I wonder while A7X were recording Waking the Fallen (or Sounding the 7th Trumpet era), if they ever imagined they'd be releasing songs like these in the future??? As a fan, I'm extremely pleased as time goes by to hear them putting out stuff that inspires them and allows them to explore their interests whether it's well recieved by fans and critics or not.
