  • A lot of you have been asking for this video, so here it is! I hope this look into my process helps you make your traditional art look even more awesome! :)
    You can use most of the techniques in any Photoshop version, but I'm using CC: goo.gl/RrxbPb

    You. Are. AMAZING!! I learned so much just re-watching the lasso tool tips! I actually linked to your video in mine tonight as an example for "digitizing art". It's got a clickable card on the video itself bringing people here to this video as well as listing this down in my description. I can't wait to try your tips once I learn how to actually draw better. I can color, but draw...not yet. I'm primarily a jewelry maker and paper crafter at my main channel, but I also do creative things with clipart. So, your tutorials in learning how to draw and digitize are my next phase. Yay! lol. Thank you for sharing your expertise! You're craftacular!

    Wow! Thanks for this quick tutorial. Was looking for how to use photoshop to remove dust that got scanned onto my image. I’m new to photoshop and your video just opened up several more aspects of photoshop to explore. Thanks!

    Great video. So simple. Thanks for sharing. I will be referencing quiet a bit. With this method, Is the background clean enough to have prints made on paper or products?

    • @YasminaCreates
      @YasminaCreates  6 років тому +2

      Yes, it should be! I would zoom in and make sure to not leave any small hairs or dust, by just erasing anything you see. But with this method you can only print on a white background, if you want to remove backgrounds there are some tutorials here on youtube for that, I just don't have much experience or patience to do that lol.

    How can you change the background color?

  • @TyroScribble93

    Can i ask your recommended save format and sizing for prints? Instead of just posting to the Web how would you save it to make prints out of it or send it off for prints...I hope that makes sense ha ha

    • @YasminaCreates
      @YasminaCreates  6 років тому

      It depends on where you do your prints. If you use society6 for example, they don't need you to convert to CMYK and in fact, tell you not to and accept PNG files. But if you will print directly with the printer, you should convert to CMYK and TIFF would probably be best. Hope that helps! :)

    Great video Yasmina! Thank you :) What do you clean your scanner with please? Also, do you have a video on printing art to sell (paper recommendations, printer, selling outlet etc), thanks! xxx

      Hey Nicola! Sorry I don't have much experience printing. I don't sell prints right now and if I ever do it will be through print on demand services. As for cleaning my printer, I just use those little microfiber wipes that are for monitors or phone screens and maybe a little water. Nothing fancy! :)

      Honestly, even wet paper towels are fine. The glass is pretty durable! You can also use glass cleaners like windex, I just hate chemicals lol
