Well Neuville is one of those rare rally car drivers who could actually repair a car himself. One of his hobbies other then driving a rally car, is being a mechanic. A bottle of beer may sound funny but he knew very well what he was doing.
I adore him with his magical aggressive way of driving, this Belgian deserves more glory for his never-ending passion and spirit on the race track. TN11 is phenomenal.

I watched him from the beginning and at times it looked like he is becoming another Mikko Hirvonen who is fast enough to become champion but always stays second at best for a plethora of reasons. Now he has done it and he worked harder for it than many. I think he can do it again! Best of luck for the next season!

The man is a legend. The sport hasn't seen such a hard working driver in two decades. Loeb, Ogier and Rovanperä are prodigies, while also hard workers, the truly have a gift. I would place Neuville in the same category as Peter Solberg and dare I say it, while certainly less flamboyant, Colin McRae.
On a different note, personally I hold Ogier marginally higher than Loeb because he's won with with various manufacturers and that's something extra special. To click and triumph with various brands cars, yet to see with the other two. Kalle may beat it.

He only needed to have close to none competition to win the title, this was a very light year in terms of Championship battle. Not his best season, but he finally did it and he deserved to win at least one Championship.

OK it was a mistake with the pace notes BUT he should have just be more carefull and bring the car home. I mean in the end Neuville took 11 out of 12 points on sunday. OK had Tänak still been in the competition Neuville had taken less risk BUT there was a 100% chance he had taken at least 2 points. So I dont understand what Tänak was thinking? Although theoretically it was still possible to become WC the only way to become WC was hoping Neuville would have hit more technical, mechanical issues with his car or made a mistake himself.

He conquered a past his prime Ott who was slow and crashing the entire season, Ogier is way past his prime and driving part time, Rovanpera is driving part time, this whole season was not to be taken seriously, so much glazing happening right now, this is ridiculous.
