Wow. I'm living in Malaysia and my experience with covid is vastly different. During the first phase of movement control, we couldn't even go out for a run. The rules are more relaxed now but this year for the first time, it will be a more intimate Eid celebration for my family and I. It's a very tragic time for everyone in the world. The only thing keeping me positive and upbeat on a day to day basis is to plan my days, keep to a routine and limit my daily news reading to a set amount of time.
Your talk at the end was very emotional for me. I totally get what you’re saying/feeling. It makes me so sad for the world that we can’t interact the way we used to. But I’m hopeful that we will pull through and be better for it. That we will all come together as human beings. Sending you positive thoughts and love. ❤️

I love to run. I just did a 10k on Mother’s Day and have been training for it. And my husband is a fantastic athlete. What both him and I experienced is that you have to coach yourself in your head that you can overcome the physical discomfort. I promise if you say to yourself “I know this is uncomfortable but you can do hard things.” And just keep pushing and running you’ll be surprised at how much your body can do. I hope that helps. Running is saving my life right now with everything going on. ♥️
I hope once lockdown we stay socially distant and careful but also kind and not hostile towards others. So if someone accidentally sneezes or if you brush up against someone accidentally not to freak out.

I haven’t left my house in months and don’t see myself doing it but I’ve started working out on our exercise bike and forgot how good it felt. My knee is a bit dodgy so can’t do much else apart from the bike but whatever helps.
As a very sensitive person I find the more isolated/distanced I become the more extreme my emotional response to everything has become. I am crying watching the news, talking with family, and crying even just with my own thoughts. There is so much tension/emotion everywhere, on every platform that things become overwhelming quickly. But in the end it’s better to feel something rather than nothing and I find it’s better out than in.

I also feel so weird. I relate to you in that I am not quite sure how to feel but I think it’s because I am feeling a plethora of feelings all at once. I feel powerless and grief over my father dying of cancer before my very eyes and I can’t be with him at the hospital. My heart is in shreds from that. But I am also feeling happy about many other good blessings that are coming out of this season. I am learning that emotional pain is okay to express and experience without needing to make myself “happy” but joy is something that God is giving us in the mides of trouble so there’s a sense of peace that it will ALL work together for our good. I’m learning to just tune into my feeling and really let myself process the emotions rather than be scared that I’ll be too sad and never come out the other side. God has never left me in a feeling and I have always been afraid of my sad, angry, depressed self but it’s through those emotions that I’ve learned who I am. What is important to me. And what I believe in. Thank you for sharing. It’s so important that we have vulnerable heart to hearts. ❤️

I think it's important to talk about how we feel and to think of vulnerability as a strength, because it is. When you asked how you should be feeling, there is no wrong or right answer. I think everyone handles pain or stress differently and you have to go with what feels right in your heart. No one can tell us how to feel, just have to trust ourselves and listen :)

So weird at the beginning of lockdown felt really anxious of being inside (not going out whenever you want) but had good days and bad, as I work in retail I know that I’m going to go back to work soon, have such mixed emotions feeling really anxious about going back, just can’t wait until the world goes back to normal whenever that will be who knows.

I relate so much to that feeling of looking at someone else be unbelievably positive and wondering what you should be doing or feeling to be more like them. I know you are feeing inspired by her but I need you to know that it is completely okay to not feel the way you think you should. Feelings are feelings. We are all in our unique path and we deal with things differently. I know you may not see yourself in that way, but to many of us you are also inspiring and we look up to your strenght and positive outlook.

Yes Amelia feel the same. I work in Nhs been off for 2 months with Covid. Haven’t seen my partner since I became ill. Have to think positive though, this too will pass. As you said we will have learnt from this rather powerful experience xxxx

I'm on week 6 on couch to 5k!! The thing that held me back was my legs would start to ache. I have now added a 7min pre and 7min post yoga run. Life changing! I just searched yoga pre run on UA-cam.
There is a Le Creuset outlet next to me and I dropped so much money there yesterday. It is the best.

Hey Amelia - running... hmm. I feel compelled to share my experience. I was a runner for a LONG time, from the age of around 17 to a year ago and I'm 31 now. I have absolutely destroyed my spine from running. I have so much pain on a daily basis because of it and regret making it my main form of exercise so much. I live in Zürich and go to a very good doctor who helps be to rebuilt the strength in my spine and he strongly advises people to stop running and to find a form of exercise that is lower impact. I miss running so much but I am grateful to have found out what it's been doing to me before it's too late!
Even with the perfect running shoes? But what about running once a week? Would it still be harmful ? How often did you run?
Its bad for the knees too if you are older, can develop irreversible arthritis! but I think in moderation it is fine.
Juliana Fotin I really can’t speak for everyone, we are all built differently. What I do know is that no matter what you wear, your body is taking a huge amount of impact every time you take a step. Long distance running is great for your heart and lungs but terrible for your Bones and joints. I used to run 2-4 times a week. I also ran a marathon and a few shorter races, and 10ks. They were spread over a long time though.
@@MagLiz1988 The thing is for every person that has issues there will be someone who can run a whole lifetime. I'm 38 and have been running for over 10 years and never had any joint issues. We all have different biomechanics. One thing I would say is that it is important to prepare your body for running with pre-workout exercises and also incorporate strength exercises if you want to run long term. I've trained for a few marathons and I find visiting a physio invaluable in keeping things in check.
I think you should potentially change the mirror in the bathroom to tie everything together :)

I do the exact same on my pull mirror in my bathroom too. It's brilliant.
When running try looking at your pace and heart rate. Learn about correct pulse zones for your purpose. When I do runs over 3 km, I run at a pace of 7 min per 1 km. It's still running but slow enough to keep me alive until the end. Most of the first time runners try to run fast right away, however that usually has an opposite impact on running progress and health.
Thanks for sharing about the charity and the story at the end. It's weird I think it feels like a film. But I'd rather hear these kind of stories more often. I find even more weird cx I work in a care home. We staff obviously have precautions in place. But it's weird cx at the same time the residents are oblivious to the situation. So its bittersweet, like last night people would be watching the news at 8itsh . We were having a Neil diamond jam session and the joy on there faces. Its a good idea for jewelry if you are not worried about tarnishing. I usually keep my jewelery in tarnish free box because even some high end jewelry tarnishes if not worn frequently

You should cut the rubber band from your flowers and cut stems of the flowers so they have fresh sucking surface. That should help your flowers to last longer. ^_^
