No brand is giving this kind of in depth detailed videos on their instruments. Even if these videos don’t get thousands of views, you should leave them online : this is gold. I’ve had my boden prog for a little more than a year now, it’s a great instrument. Thanks for this video !

I've been wanting a Strandberg for a while now. Two days ago, I sold a PRS I love dearly to fund my first Strandberg, a Standard 6 with a trem, and I gotta say, seeing videos of the owner/creator of these guitars take the time to explain the mechanisms and the thought processes behind the designs makes me so glad I did. Keep it up, I love the outreach!

This is total commitment to a product and to we customers. Much MUCH appreciated Ola. I'm about to take delivery of a Classic six trem and I had the dealer set it up with nines, and I'm a bit worried about that, but they are supposedly good techs. We'll see. My goal is to understand the mechanics so that I can converse with a tech better, especially the ones who never worked on your brand. This video today went a long way to meeting that goal for the trem system. Saludos, amigo, y muchísimas gracias (that means thanks a lot, dude, haha).

It'll handle any string gauge, so no need to be concerned. I'm sure that armed with this knowledge, you'll be able to set it up like a pro in no time! //Ola

Ola, the nines worked great (of course) and I could not be happier with an instrument. Just WOW.

Hi Ola. Thank you so much for this great video. I broke my tremolo screw like you described around the 36 minute mark, expecting it to be like a Fender type trem. I understand my mistake now and it also solves the dead movement in the arm I didn't like. Great video! It really changed my opinion on this system: It is a great design! And a reminder for me to RTFM next time ;)

Thanks for the kind words! We're trying to bullet-proof the design to avoid having to read the manual, but I guess we're not there yet :) //Ola

@@StrandbergguitarsOfficial Thank you Ola. I installed the new tremolo yesterday. I changed to a thinner string-gauge and readjusted the setup for the lower tension. All very easy and incredible tuning stability with new strings. Great system!

I'm eagerly awaiting my first Classic in the mail right now! But after watching this, I think I'm going to return it for a non tremelo version.

Shawn Condon yeah? I'm pretty capable tech wise. I build mechanical watches from scratch as a hobby. I do love tremelo play too. I'm just not a fan of Floyd Rose style systems. The only trem that's ever really performed well sits on my 62' Stratocaster reissue. Most other systems have been trash by comparison. I'll have to see how I feel when it arrives.

@@keefjunior4061 I'm curious to know how it works for you (the trem).

Mexican Zeppelin I don't know yet. I'm fairly tough on my Strat trem and this looks to take more abuse, so I'll let you know as soon as I'm done testing.

A Guide for all users on how to adjust the bridge depending on our needs, whether Shred, Rhythmic, or Both, would be great. I say an Ideal adjustment according to the tension.

Just bought a Boden Fusion 6 Neck-Thru Trans Teal today. Cant wait for it to arrive.
Q: Is there a Boden True Temperament coming with a Tremolo ?
These in depth video's are so cool. Thanks Ola.

Happy to hear that you are enjoying the videos! We don't have a TT model with trem planned at the moment, but can't rule it out for the future of course. Our production capacity for TT guitars is still quite limited. //Ola

I just purchased a used Strandberg and I noticed the tremolo base plate is leaning towards one side. How do I adjust the pivot points?

hey there hello...i bought the Boden Standard 6 Tremolo Maple Flame Blue 2 weeks ago...super great guitar but after few days the 3rd 2nd 1st strings went off intonation especially higher frets although even as low as 10th fret on the 1st and 2nd it was off also...the intonation drill of the 12th fret harmonic with 12th fret note checked and it was perfectly ok.. was advised by someone from the company to change strings since he said it might be the material of the string got shocked so to speak with the country's humid/weather situation.. did that and problem still there although maybe a very slight better.. i live in Malta and it is a humid country but i owned guitars for 35 yrs and this never happened especially on a 2 wk brand new guitar...any ideas on how to fix this pls ? much appreciated..
