    This is super helpful, I've been wanting a corn that will look a specific way as an adult but it's hard to figure that out looking only at baby pics.

    I loved this one! I really like seeing the adults and I’m glad you’re educating people about the colors and genetics. Coming to cornsnakes recently I know nothing about their genetics. Carpets and Bredls don’t have that many different colors. I want to see some normals though! I am telling you that normal I got from you is possibly the prettiest snake I have but I know even within the wild type there can be variations.

    • @joe_phelan
      @joe_phelan  4 роки тому +1

      Thank you! And I don't really have wild types 😱 Unfortunately, I can't justify breeding low dollar animals. Mostly because cheap snakes often don't get the attention they deserve. Yours was 1 of 2 normals I produced but it is an amazing looking one for sure!

      Port City Pythons I understand. If any normals pop out by chance next year just put my name on them. This one is so bright and what a fantastic personality! The tessera is calming down and doing well too but for me he just doesn’t compare to “Normal”.

    I have a corn snake (sunkissed Miami) it's only a baby but she's orange with grey belly scales and a gray head. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing if she changes as an adult. I'm sure shell look great either way

    Woo hoo! New video! I'm loving watching all mine grow up. Caramel is the most contrasting gene I have right now but the quad het babies are looking great. The reds have stayed deep red and the blacks are great. My halos look weird they're going through some kind of phase where idk what color they are. My Ultramel tessera has all the blacks coming in as a crazy purple.

    How big should a year and a half old corn be? Also how long does it take for a corn to get about 3 feet?

    • @joe_phelan
      @joe_phelan  4 роки тому

      3 years. I wouldn't worry about size (they all grow at different rates) as long as it is eating every 10 days and pooping you should be good
