Hii jack, I am totally new for WordPress site design from scratch.Right now, I am a SEO analyst and focusing on WordPress page speed optimisation without using any plugin with pure coding only.
You are such a dedicated and amazing Wordpress expert! I love all your videos and they’ve all been helpful. I can not thank you enough!!!! Keep them coming Jack! You deserve a million subscribers!!!
I followed you all the way and I am amazed how easy that was. Certainly no harder than Elementor. I learned so much. And the coolest thing>>> the test page I created that is 95% of what you made is scoring 100 for mobile and PC. Wow. Much appreciated Jack.
I am totally new in building website. I searched but yours is so appropriate for a begginer. Its so easy to understand and you have explained it very easily. I can see you have put a lot of effort in these videos. Very Very helpful. I wish you all the best. May you gain the audience attention you deserve.
I'm so happy that your video found its way to my UA-cam feed. Your approach of using just the WP editor and a plug-in to demonstrate how to re-create an existing landing page is unique and soooo relevant! I really appreciate all the effort you obviously put in to producing the video and hope that you continue along your path. Great stuff!

Do you plan on making more gutenberg / kadence (free) guides since the wp update? It's probably just me over/under thinking, but i keep getting frustrated esp when not using transparent headers with all of the settings from the customizer and the page settings options - change some in one place and not the other etc - anyway i enjoy your content and efforts and look forward to seeing more of you guides building more complex designs - thanks!
Great video, glad I found it. I'm just getting started in WordPress and I couldn't see how you turn a general WP site into a modern looking site. This will be a great help.
Thanks so much for your amazing videos Jack. I had zero knowledge of Wordpress before I started watching your videos. Love them - especially the Kadence related ones. I have watched this particular video maybe 5 or 6 times and built & rebuilt the same tasters club site 3 times now & feel like I have learned a ton of stuff. Would really appreciate if you could do a video on optimising for mobile because with this tasters club site the accordion section & 2nd last section the text does not wrap around in the mobile view. I plan on getting the Kadence pro so, maybe there is some plugin I can use for that. Thank you again.
I should have optimized for mobile for this tutorial. But anyway, it is all about playing around with the padding and margin. In the Kadence Row Layout, there are responsive view and layouts. Check this part from another tutorial, I hope you will get some insights on mobile optimization: ua-cam.com/video/GFsbb4WE8o0/v-deo.html
Thanks for the awesome video. Gave me alot of confidence in switching from Divi to Kadence. I could see alot of the similarities. Still have to figure out how to change the width of row layouts that are within a row layout. That is easier to do in Divi. But, I can't wait to try it out.
Jack, this is awesome, thank you so much!! I cannot figure out how to increase the spacing between the menu items with the Kadence customizer. Does that need to be done thru custom CSS classes? Also, you show how you can duplicate the row layout, but can you duplicate a section in the row layout?
Wow, I'm glad I found your channel and this video as I am moving sites from Elementor and BB to Gutenberg. My question, yes you get better sites speeds but is building sites slow in GB then say Elementor? If you were an expert in both are they equally efficient? Thanks!
Yes they are. I am provision in both Elementor and Gutenberg and both have a learning curve but once you got the hang of it, they are equally efficient. It is all about getting familiar with the platform.

I did a lot of research on youtube and your tutorials are the most helpful, straight to the point and definitely of greater value.
The same page can be built with Generatepress, just that the header and footer will be a little challenging (The logo and menu section and the those menus at the bottom). Other than that, the process of creating the middle part (everything created with the WordPress Editor) is going to be the same. I have created another video that uses Generatepress (though not related to Taster's Club), but I think it is a good tutorial on Generatepress. I think that if you want the speed, without the headaches of coding and stuff, you should go with the Kadence theme. Good tutorial, Jack. If I may make a respectful suggestion; I believe you could have saved some time and effort by using some of the Kadence theme features. Specifically, setting the colours (such as default text colour and the page background). Also, the Kadence theme has some great colour palette features that especially work well when one also uses Kadence Blocks. Thanks for the great video. I'm using kadence theme, but I couldn't figured out how enable sidebar of pages and posts. Also, why you need custom link in menu?
Custom Link: That's because I do not have a page ready to be linked yet. That's why I created a custom link that links to "#", so when some one clicks on the link, nothing happens. On your WordPress dashboard, go to appearance >> customize, and it will bring you to the theme customizer. Then, under "Blog Post", select "Single Post Layout", and scroll to "Default post layout", and you will find a layout that comes with a sidebar. Hope this helps.
