  • Another "Dear Training Designer's Club" problem that I answer in a simple straightforward way.
Induction training is so important: People are taking the first steps an exciting new career. They have let go of the security and familiarity of their previous job where they were probably highly competent, well-known and comfortable. Now they are taking a step into the unknown.
It's vital that we get induction training right not only to validate their decision to join the organisation and prevent them leaving, but also to help them to become a productive and valued member of the team as soon as possible.
A great induction program doesn't need to be high-tech, but it DOES need to be employee-centric.
This video talks you through how to create a training course specific to induction training and highlights the main points in how to design an induction program. For more information, take a look at this blog which includes a link for you to download a more detailed guide.
