I believe the point of the part you left off was to make the exhaust slider stick out a little more- by it sticking out even and inch more, the exhaust slider absorbs more of the impact from the drop instead of the muffler. But from the test drop it looks like it still held up well with the exception of the forward controls.
I installed the same floor boards but I bought some skate board grit paper that I put over the lined area of the boards and it looks great and at the same time prevents your feet from slipping in wet conditions . Great boards and even better with the grit paper~!
I have a 2024 Honda Rebel 500 ABS. At 3:53 time stamp, your bike shows that your foot peg is already attached, and the sliders are being screwed on, at the bottom end of those two bars. My bike only has those bars on the right side above the muffler just like yours. Did you attached those bars or did your bike come with them on? I would like you to add foot pegs and sliders on both side on mine as well. Thanks in advance!
I realize you made this video a while ago, but when you laid the bike down, I couldn’t tell if the rear brake lever was affected (bent/damaged/touching the ground) or not with these sliders installed? Thanks!
So here’s a question. Do you think the rear frame slider has that offset bracket so it can hang down over the exhaust and give a little bit more protection to the exhaust?
Can you stand on the floorboards while riding? How about the red dragon forward controls? I often like to stand and ride to stretch my legs on long rides.
Hi, thanks for the content. Following here from the Philippines. I’m highly considering adding the floor boards and this vid help me decides to go for it. Thanks! 🫡🫡🫡
It looks as if you stopped making videos a year ago but thank you for making these. I just bought a Honda rebel 500 and adding accessories now.
I immediately subscribed for the channel name.

Looks like a win.
I saw the title of this video and almost had a heart attack!
Little by little the bike is slowly looking so good!

Hi, I’m interesting to buy forward control old ones
Im 6'2", so forward controls are a must for me. If I drop it, so be it I guess.
The baffle on the exhaust, did you do any drilling to get on there?
So here’s a question. Do you think the rear frame slider has that offset bracket so it can hang down over the exhaust and give a little bit more protection to the exhaust?
Might need offset bracket for that huge sewing machine stock muffler for clearance.
@@MotoGearSolid for others perhaps the offset comes with it to get above stock exhaust
Probrably the suspension as much or more than the seat, comfort wise. My 300 rides pretty stiff and the stock seat is thin though.

Oh man, you sold the Rebel 500? Darn. I just got my 2023 last month and am really enjoying it.
Sorry you weren't happy with it.
are there any sliders compatible with forward controls?
I would be willing to purchase either set of your forward controls of still available.
Name the brand of slider!

Hi, where did you get the engine sliders in the front? Also useful as footpegs?
I want to buy the controls,
Are the red dragon controls still available? Message me if so.
Nice video man.
Message me with what you’re looking for for the forwards.
@@MotoGearSolid absolutely man.
