Thank you all so much for watching! Let us know what you think of this theory! If you have any evidence that could either prove, or disprove it, make sure to comment it!
14:14 "Caine may even be aware of our presence, and is attempting to pander to us." But- But- The internet is something Caine canonically has no knowledge of! He even says it himself!
That’s a very good point, however, Caine still understands video games, technology, computers, and tv shows and movies existed long before the internet. Live broadcasts have also existed on TV for many years, mainly used in the news. He doesn’t need to be aware of the internet to be able to turn this into a show and be aware of the audience to said show.
We also have kinda to consider the fact if he would just reveal that this is just an internet thingy he has made and involved everyone, then it would make chaos within this world and possibly abstract the people. Maybe that´s why Kaufmo abstracted
Ideas for Caine theories: 1) Caine and Abel. If you know anything about the biblical character Caine, its that he killed his brother (Caine hit Abel with the leg of a table). Maybe there were two A.I.s and Caine cannibalised the other one (like in avengers: age of ultron) 2) The fact that caine got flustered when talking about mixing up npcs amd humans kind of implies it has happened in the past- is one of the main crew an npc? Is one of the ncps (gummigoo, pls) a human? Is caine actually a human and has forgotten? 3) C&A. The merch has a logo which reads "c&a", obviously alluding to caine and abel. It seems that this may be the name of the company behind the digital circus. If points one and two are correct, then it looks like caine is the owner of the company and either killed or removed his business partner.
What's interesting about TADC is it seems that while they cant eat drink or sleep, at least, not for what those things provide, it seems they can *pretend* to do it, and get the same thing out of it. Like it wasnt confirmed but I would think they taste the food, and feel full after eating it, they just never feel hungry. So they can "go to sleep" and dream, but they never *need* to do so.
Yeah, I was gonna point that out too. Kinger's phrasing is specifically that they _"don't_ *_need_* _to"_ eat, drink, or sleep... not that they _can't._ Pomni is definitely dreaming in that sequence, it's merely that she doesn't _need_ to sleep in order to remain functional in the digital realm.
I don’t think there was that much in terms of theory potential in ep 2 the hands coming form Pomni are meant to be symbolic of feeling trust with the others a knowing she won’t be forgotten by them
95% charaterstuff, not much theory bait for the rest of the 5% could be 1% or .5%, but it's not a focus of the series, so some scenes have theories in mind, but yeah, I agree some things are just surface level and not have much theory potential unless it about a character or event
9:38 "We know from Kinger that they can't eat, drink, or sleep in the digital world" ...That's just flat out wrong. Literally not what's said. What's said is, "Well, not really. Because we don't need to eat, drink, or sleep in this digital world. So the digital food here only gives off the virtual sensation of eating, without any of the nutritional benefits" Literally just go back to episode 1, at 23:50. There is a MASSIVE difference between CAN'T and DON'T NEED TO.
Good point, that was a poor choice of words on my end, however, the message is still the same. If they don’t need to eat sleep or drink and they only give of the virtual sensation of such, it is strange to simply just have a dream sequence in this show, especially one this is brought back at the end of the episode. There is most likely more meaning to it, either as a symbolic representation of Pomni’s insecurities and fears, or as a spoiler of future events. But yes, saying that they “can’t” do any of this is incorrect.
If the show theory is correct (which I believe it is), I actually believe when Caine says “they’ll be spoiled” he’s not talking about a player but the audience

4th theory, Caine is just a lonely guy who doesn't have a lot of friends IRL, and he creates his own reality by using the programming codes from the company "C&A" in the show to get some friends for his own agenda, even when he can't fix his friends' mental state, he just throws them away in the "basement" to prevent further problems.
6:24 we know caine can’t control their minds… but doesn’t mean he can’t influence their dreams… he wants her to feel insecure, but can’t directly do that so maybe did that through dreams? his only access to their minds?
I think you're way overthinking the dream. It's giving us a look at how Pomni is feeling. She doesn't feel significant and is worried everyone here will just throw her away. This changes when she sees that they do mourn for those that are lost, and do care about each other

My theory is that Caine is being controlled by a real life person. Especially how he seems to disappear while saying that he is going to drink water as if the human controlling Caine logged out to physically get water. Especially how Caine disappears to do so, the same way when you log out of a game to do something outside of the game. What if Caine is just a puppet being controlled by someone higher up we don't know yet in the show? Like the CEO of the company or something. I wanted to write down my theories specifically on Caine as he acts more like a human than an AI sometimes which gave me this idea in the first place.
If we are to pull anything more from it than that, I do think that *seeing* abstracted forms in a dream might be evidence of abstracting. As in its sort of like the void calling to you, insanity asking you to take its hand. Just given Kaufmo's paintings, they might have been based off similar dreams he had before abstracting.

I dont really believe this theory but keep it up man, there's not enough quality theory channels out there and your content only strengthens the community. ✌️
You're blowing this dream waaaaaay out of proportion. I think that the dream is just pomni's subconscious being anxious about abstracting and her realising in the end that she has potential friends who care about her and can save her from it (with the exception of jax apparently). Also about caine and the npc thing, i think that maybe in the past caine allowed the humans to bring back npc's from their adventures and so they would run around the circus, and perhaps one time caine has mistook a human for an npc and tried to delete them, resulting in them abstracting or something and that's why caine doesn't allow npcs in the circus anymore.
Very cool theory! I never realized that Caine was actually talking to us the whole time! Also could you maybe look at the show spooky month? It has a lot of lore as well…
Hm, fair points and opinions, this was an interesting Theory. However, some corrections about the whole Eat, Drink and Sleep thing, We were told that they don’t NEED to Eat, Drink or Sleep, not that they CAN’T, They can still do it, there’s just not a necessity for any of it.
it was just a dream, it only served a purpose to showcase reality of the ending where Pomni's fears are unjustified as everyone actually care about the people in the circus. Here i solved it without trying to imitate MatPat.
So here's a weird theory I have in my head. Caine is an AI. He's essentially an extremely well programmed NPC. He doesn't want NPC's in the circus not cause he accidently deleted a player or that a player is now an npc. But that at one point Caine was a player character. I kind of admin for the circus. Like that the person who made the game wanted to have control so they made a character that has access to God mode (the mode in games where you can't be hurt and can do things like spawn in assets or even make infinite stuff, kind of like creative mode in minecraft) but the person running it knew they wouldn't be available all the time. So they made a copy of their avatar (including God mode access) and gave it an AI so that it could run the game for them. Since Caine is essentially an npc, he doesn't want other npc's at the circus because if an npc is allowed at the circus it could learn how to access God mode like Caine has access to. If a player gains God mode its okay, but if an npc got hold of it they could destroy the cir us realm or perhaps even learn how to shut Caine off.
That would explain the fudge monster. It really doesn't make sense otherwise for it to even exist. It adds nothing to the quest/mission and could easily be missed. It's like it was just there to appeaze Jax and us who like chaos.
Kane is not an ai. He is a human whose memory has been manipulated like everyone else's memory has been manipulated. Taking away everyone's name? It's a pretty huge thing. So it would be rewriting Cane's memories to think that he's in charge. I think the real one in charge is Jax
Ok, so... gotta disagree with most parts of this. Spoiled, despite it's common use today about releases, still can mean "becomes unfit" or broken or similar. Someone being spoiled can mean they are aware of something as well, but spoilers often bring their own questions into the mix. What I mean is, Pomni being spoiled could easily have just been meaning "oh god she's going to break" or "she'll see something out there that isn't ready yet;" on top of that, we know she already has been spoiled by the end of the first episode. Caine admits he made the exit door and it was a project he's still working on, because he hasn't figured out what to put at the end yet; meaning Pomni has seen something not ready. Additionally, the dream is almost certainly just a dream. The inconsistent characterization of Ragatha, the only partial abstraction, which doesn't seem to be a thing as of now, because it isn't like a person's arm can go insane on its own while the rest of them retains the sanity. About the dreams, drinking, and eating thing. Kinger doesn't say "we can't," he says "we don't have to," which means that despite them needing no food or such, they can still probably eat or drink whatever Caine gave them at the end. Which would also imply Pomni can still dream, even if she doesn't need to. Caine is also, at least as far as I know and think, an ai; the creator of the show has even said he doesn't mean harm to the people trapped, it's just that he doesn't know what he needs to do or what humans need or want. It's even implied in some things I've seen from them that the "exit door" was Caine literally trying to give people an exit like they want, it's just that he didn't mean they wanted an "exit out of the simulation," just that they wanted a literal exit door. Next I just want to say that Caine recreating the outside world to some degree probably doesn't mean anything, and this is largely me speculating. I mean, when the characters join, memories are still there to some degree, like we saw with Pomni remembering she put on a headset. It could just be that only the most recent memories are retained there, as in the literal minute or so before joining. The rest could be "there" in some respect, but it just being a garbled mess that no one could really filter. What I mean is that, Caine and the system may be able to recover simple things from memories, like what the room looked like before they entered the circus. Finally, I do like the idea of Caine being aware someone is watching. I honestly just think he doesn't really know who it is. He knows someone can see them somehow, he just has no idea who, how, or why.
Sometimes i use to think no one is really stuck, but this is just like animation on the game behind the scenes as if someone is doing Ventriloquism Like for example in pomni plush video why would they use plush versions of them to hold it, while the bg is photo realistic, shoudn't pomni be aware thats her outside to the real world. Bc idk if plush is canon or not. Or maybe it's just random person who has schizophrenia, bc this was mentionted to be horror
I don't understand this _Jax is an NPC thing._ *Zooble is more NPC to me.* The 1st episode They say they don't want to participate and the Zoink immediately takes them out of the equation by un assembling them for 90% of the episode. Not to mention the Zoinks takes them straight to the climax of the adventure as if waiting for the gang to complete the assigned task. In the 2nd episode they also say they don't want to participate in the adventure. Caine stopped them and they still got to walk away when the 1st episode made it sound like they had to participate in any shape or form. Also zooble can be taken apart where pomni tried pulling on her face to get out of the helmet she pulled her eye out of her socket but it was still attached to her. Gangle has a mask which isn't the same as completely detaching your head because when it's broken that's it it doesn't come back until the next episode.
I believe in a series like this Occam's razor is the most important tool to have ( simplest solution is the most likely one), and here using the razor I can debunk most of the theories It is indeed a dream. While in the circus the guests don't need to sleep, but can do so. During sleep we can assume their mind is doing what it would do in the real world. Ending is Pomni reflecting her nightmare and realizing that she is surrounded by people who care for each other and she can be part of them Caine's line about being spoiled could be that he is hiding the fact that the void is the space between the circus and the maps for their adventures, and along with being concerned of Pomni's safety he also is concerned Pomni might see some of the future adventures he has made or is still working ( Caine hates people seeing his work before it is completed, it was even mentioned in the full series announcement. Caine is 100% AI. He is based on AM from I have no mouth and I must scream who was a super computer that gained self awareness. It can just be assumed same rules apply to him same as guest, meaning that he can enjoy eating, drinking and sleeping for the sheer enjoyment of it. If he was truly human he would not have any problem putting more than C&A office beyond the exit. Whether he was programmed with the information on what the offices looked like, or some of the guest described it to him ( I believe it was Kinger since it is a popular theory he is one of the developers of the circus ). Personally I feel like the theme song is either Caine following his coding or just thinks it would be a good way to hype up the guest for adventures is the explanation, which why I believe it will come back once he figures out a way to add Pomni to the song
There is a theory about the characters' avatars being based off of how they were in the real world and it makes me wonder what I'd be like in that or anyone else I know
Pomni is gonna Collision glitch in the devroom again and will find a command console. I really wanna see how that goes it's a random idea and no proof besides she knows about collision glitching
We are also in clown world. Everything is scripted. This show is a perfect example of "As above, so below" humor from the higher intelligence running things.
8:30 considering his name has AI in it, i would aay Cain is an AI. Now wherther or nor he is an AI made from a human conscious or juat completely made up is the true question
maybe its like a prototype game for mental health which isnt finished thats why players keep abstracting and other glitches a game where you can see your personality overcame traumatic events kinger and his wife jax seems to have a problem with "submissive & agreeably" children Agatha and her being an actual npc caine got so players would abstract slower but she forgot the string kid who may not be as innocent as we think probably pomni will abstract this season amd return next season
Question, if they put a headset on and they been there for years then what happens to their body in the real world, I mean they did say they don't need to eat drink or sleep. So my question is how do they survive in the real world? What they eat transport to the headset and into the body?

You're blowing this dream waaaaaay out of proportion. I think that the dream is just pomni's subconscious being anxious about abstracting and her realising in the end that she has potential friends who care about her and can save her from it (with the exception of jax apparently).
Also about caine and the npc thing, i think that maybe in the past caine allowed the humans to bring back npc's from their adventures and so they would run around the circus, and perhaps one time caine has mistook a human for an npc and tried to delete them, resulting in them abstracting or something and that's why caine doesn't allow npcs in the circus anymore.
This is exactly why i love your videos
It's always detailed without leaving a stone unturned
Theory: it’s called a game because the players (pomni, jax, ragatha, etc.) “play” it by living in the circus, and to US it’s a show like you said
Very cool theory! I never realized that Caine was actually talking to us the whole time! Also could you maybe look at the show spooky month? It has a lot of lore as well…
Hm, fair points and opinions, this was an interesting Theory.
However, some corrections about the whole Eat, Drink and Sleep thing,
We were told that they don’t NEED to Eat, Drink or Sleep, not that they CAN’T,
They can still do it, there’s just not a necessity for any of it.
it was just a dream, it only served a purpose to showcase reality of the ending where Pomni's fears are unjustified as everyone actually care about the people in the circus. Here i solved it without trying to imitate MatPat.
3:52 - It's interesting that they're changing the photos on the wacky watch website. Has anyone solved the phone number yet?
RemGames: We're the audience Caine is talking to!
Me: *THEY'RE BECOMING SELF-AWARE!*
Caine after his doppleganger activity: “Man the move I took was calculated, but man am I bad at math”
That would explain the fudge monster. It really doesn't make sense otherwise for it to even exist. It adds nothing to the quest/mission and could easily be missed. It's like it was just there to appeaze Jax and us who like chaos.
I think you also missed that Jax stares directly at the camera, but Ragatha incorrectly assumes he's looking at her.
Caine is probably an avatar controlled by an administrator, which is why he will stand around, and then suddenly move. Click a spot to move to it.
I don't think they CAN'T eat sleep or drink, they just... don't HAVE to.
8:47 people use this moment as lore evidence like... all the time. But I dont think the moment is diegetic. Its just a visual gag.
Why wouldn't it be diagetic tho. Gangle reacts to it and all of them are computer generated models anyway. Glitching isnt that far fetched
As Matt Pat once said, that's just a theory, a film theory!
Btw the people helping pomni from the hole are Ragatha: Zooble and Gangle (Not sure if its gangle)
5:50 I beg your pardon???
12:39 Welcome to The Amazing Digital Circus! The online internet videogame TV show.....
Its just a theory.....A CIRCUS THEORY AAAAAAND CUT
Damn i asked for a sip and i get drenched
Always delivering the best
Sometimes i use to think no one is really stuck, but this is just like animation on the game behind the scenes as if someone is doing
Ventriloquism
Like for example in pomni plush video why would they use plush versions of them to hold it, while the bg is photo realistic, shoudn't pomni be aware thats her outside to the real world. Bc idk if plush is canon or not. Or maybe it's just random person who has schizophrenia, bc this was mentionted to be horror
I don't understand this _Jax is an NPC thing._
*Zooble is more NPC to me.*
The 1st episode They say they don't want to participate and the Zoink immediately takes them out of the equation by un assembling them for 90% of the episode.
Speaking of NPC's in episode 1 when pomni was searching for caine there was an npc in the toilet doesn't that count?
I believe in a series like this Occam's razor is the most important tool to have ( simplest solution is the most likely one), and here using the razor I can debunk most of the theories
It is indeed a dream. While in the circus the guests don't need to sleep, but can do so. During sleep we can assume their mind is doing what it would do in the real world. Ending is Pomni reflecting her nightmare and realizing that she is surrounded by people who care for each other and she can be part of them
Caine's line about being spoiled could be that he is hiding the fact that the void is the space between the circus and the maps for their adventures, and along with being concerned of Pomni's safety he also is concerned Pomni might see some of the future adventures he has made or is still working ( Caine hates people seeing his work before it is completed, it was even mentioned in the full series announcement.
Personally I feel like the theme song is either Caine following his coding or just thinks it would be a good way to hype up the guest for adventures is the explanation, which why I believe it will come back once he figures out a way to add Pomni to the song
nice! one of the better tadc theories i've seen
There is a theory about the characters' avatars being based off of how they were in the real world and it makes me wonder what I'd be like in that or anyone else I know
Not even just how I'd look, how I would react to certain situations
Pomni is gonna Collision glitch in the devroom again and will find a command console. I really wanna see how that goes it's a random idea and no proof besides she knows about collision glitching
....A picture of Gummigoo's death? GLITCH STAHP
12:24 its probably for the players... They are probably doing it just to pretend like they do with everything.
what about if the time inside the digital world is so slow compared to the real world time and that's why they don't need to sleep, drink or eat
I just assumed spoiled ment like food
11:30
What if he can read minds throw the headset
We are also in clown world. Everything is scripted. This show is a perfect example of "As above, so below" humor from the higher intelligence running things.
Canine hole made me laugh for some reason 😂
8:30 considering his name has AI in it, i would aay Cain is an AI. Now wherther or nor he is an AI made from a human conscious or juat completely made up is the true question
maybe its like a prototype game for mental health which isnt finished thats why players keep abstracting and other glitches
a game where you can see your personality overcame traumatic events
kinger and his wife
jax seems to have a problem with "submissive & agreeably" children
Agatha and her being an actual npc caine got so players would abstract slower but she forgot
the string kid who may not be as innocent as we think
probably pomni will abstract this season amd return next season
Question, if they put a headset on and they been there for years then what happens to their body in the real world, I mean they did say they don't need to eat drink or sleep. So my question is how do they survive in the real world? What they eat transport to the headset and into the body?
Now the website shows pomny eating a sandwich if you keep watching it seems like a bomb goes off near by
What if the exit was to put on the headset in the digital offices?
Yummy tadc theories
The episode was so good that I HAD to make a theory on it!
@@RemGames hell yeah
i have a theory thar jax is mean to leave the circus am i right?
Pomni was a *FLUPPER-NUTTER* in the show
(Film Theory forced me to do this-)
Your just as good 😊 as mat pat
I am infertile from eating scented candles. The
Birth control lifehack
Sounds like something Caine would say
That's rough buddy
Day 1 of asking for Welcome Home Content again!
Yeah. It's symbolism. You got it.

What was the point of this video...? Didn't learn or solidify anything besides the obvious...
That's why they are all theories and not facts
Stop being stupid and dumb
Could you try and prove/disprove the "Jax is an NPC" theory? I myself halfway believe in it, but knowing Gooseworx, they'll end up disproving it.
