Thank you I try to make this channel fun and deliver a learning experience my goal is to get people Turing wrenches on their bikes I have 28 years of experience and I enjoy sharing on my channel
Thanks for this video! I'm very new at this so this video broke it down great. I am going to attempt to take the carb off my 83 VT500C within the next couple days.
I just remcently got my hands on an 83 and have no idea where these fuel lines and vents and vacuum lines go. If you or anyone else has any info or wouldn't mind helping me with a few things i would greatly appreciate it! I've been watching and re watching your video so much trying to find out where all the fuel lines and hoses go.
I'm about to do this on a shadow 500 i picked up yesterday. Thanks for the upload! That vacuum line... where does it go to? there's no place on my petcock it could attached to... So it's just hanging out
Hello, so the black vacuum piston should be loose and out like that? Because I have one that is loose and out in the air intake of the opening, and the other one is stuck. Which one is correct?
could you spray carb cleaner directly into it or wouldn't that work? My shadow boks in 6th gear but runs fine in every other gear been running some fuel enrichment for carbed engines little purple bottle cost at 13 euro's
Thank you Kevin Bergeron ! Loved your channel. Can you tell the exact location of the bolts? I’ve tried too many times to remove the seat on my 85 shadow but couldnt do it. One last question :) I need a new air filter for my 85 vt500 shadow. What would you recommend?
I have a vt585 shadow 19000 mi on it good runner but it's starting to hesitate and overdrive gear don't know what's going on I'd like to know if anybody knows what's happening with it
All done single handed 🏆
Thanks for showing. Much appreciated !

Awesome if you get stuck let me know
thanks for the video! I really recommend getting some proper screwdrivers for this kind of job, especially those relatively soft screws of a bowl.
Holy heck thank you so much! I couldnt figure my carb out if it wasnt for this video!
Happy to help that's why I make videos

Baqca Sanke it goes to the petcock
Baqca Sanke they are great bikes
It's a lot more complicated than tearing down my ke100 though. I can pull that kawa apart blindfolded
My shadow is still sitting under a tarp.
@@baqcasanke buy it off you for parts? XD

No because you need to clean the bowl and jets
Having an issue getting the air box back onto the carbs especially the “right” side any suggestions?
use a hair dryer on hi or a heat gun on low to soften the boots aply small amount of lube on the inside of the boot before installing
My first Street bike in 2000
Great bike
I wanted to watch a short video but a I had to watch 5 mins of removing an airbox
Very true
How did you remove the seat?
2 bolts 1 on each side

sounds like you might have to drain the carbs at the bottom of the carb bowls there's a drain could be water or debris and i would also replace plugs
Tengo esta misma moto!
Pero no sé cómo hacerle encender
I don't understand sorry
I just bought this for my girlfriend =] I need to clean the carbs so ……
Right here 😂
