LYRICS:
When you’re big!
You can push all the little ones around!
They’re looking up, while you are looking down!
You can snap a tree in two, like it is just a twig!
Things are better when you’re big!
When you’re big!
You can do anything you wanna do! (Wah-oh!)
All the rules that grown-ups make, they don’t apply to you! (Not to you)
You can splash in all the puddles!
Gulp, and slurp, and swig! (Oh, wah!)
The world is wetter when you’re big! (Glug, glug, glug!)
You can snort! (You can snort!)
You can growl! (You can growl!)
You can stomp! (You can Stomp!)
You can howl! (You can how!)
You can bonk someone smaller on the head! (On the head!)
You can take what you want! (la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la!)
Play all day in the swamp! (la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la!)
And you never ever have to go to bed! (Ooooohhhhh!)
When you’re big!
You can step, (Oh, wah!) on little people’s toes! (Oh, wah!)
Munch on their lunch! (Lunch!)
Bop them in the nose! (Oh, yeah!)
Threehorns and longnecks! And duckfeet, too! (Duckfeet, too!)
They all have to do anything you want them to! (You want them to!)
And if they don’t, you can plop them in the goo!
Don’t you forget! (ARRGHH)
What you want, you get! (ARRGHH)
Things are better when you’re big! (Sha la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la)
When you’re big! (Sha la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la)
When you’re big! (Sha la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la)
WHEN YOU’RE BIG!
“And you never ever have to go to bed” great line when you’re a kid. Hits reeeal different when youre a grown adult with insomnia.
Kid Life: *Have to go to bed when you don’t want to.*
Adult Life: *Can’t go to bed when you want to.*
HAH! Jokes on you!
Been dealing with insomnia since I was a very young child. I'm an adult now, and it didn't get better.
This song absolutely did not have to go as hard as it did
Yes it did. 😝
Aaaa actually yeah it did... this song is about being a bully... it’s not supposed to be nice
Lmao ikr
20 years later and i still sing this in my head 😂😂
@@jakecroc Their comment "This song did not have to go as hard as it did" means that the song is really good. They weren't saying it's a mean song, they were complimenting it
I feel bad for the generation who didn’t grow up with this
I can tell you, it was more than one generation....
I can guarantee our ancestors did not have this gem to rock out to as younguns
They’re too distracting obsessing over themselves on social media anyway

I'm addicted to this song, it's my anthem. I listen to this song every second of the day. I've had it on repeat since the 90s. Someone help me.
I was born on September 23rd, 1997.
I’m not palaeontologist but I’d guess it probably wouldn’t be a good idea to sing this to a young brontosaurus who will be like 30x your size when he’s older 😂
1st day of Senior year walking through the doors that morning
I agreed 👍 I will play this song when I walked in the school building where I reached 12th grade next year
Sigh... take me back to the 90s already... I miss my childhood man.
Me too. Proud of being a late 1990s baby. September 23rd, 1997
The fact that little foot comes back after this song with the biggest diss ever is hilarious
But Hip when you're all grown up..you won't be very big at all....😂😂😂😂
when you're bi- BIG BIG BIG BIG WATER
If you're musically talented, I would really suggest creating this crossover. There is a huge lbt Fandom and bbbbwater+whenYourebig are the BEST songs of the franchise.
I would watch/listen the f*ck out of this
Lol
i think i was in either 1st or 2nd grade when my mon suggested i performed this song in my school spring fling but when it came time to rehearsals i didn't have the music 😩 im so relieved i avoided that embarrassment 😭
"And you never ever have to go to bed" I stayed up baking cookies until 2:30 in the morning! ...I feel like this shouldn't be an accomplishment, yet here I am xD

The instrumental for this is so amazing wtf
Not gonna lie, even though this was sung by the bullies it’s still hella catchy
Villains typically got the top spot if not among top 3 songs in their respective movie.
Most villain songs are the catchiest lol is it just me or does it seem like movies are trying to make us WANT to be bad?😮😂
Big talk from the kid who gets yelled at by his big daddy
Thats like the quintessential definition of bullying tho... hurt people hurt people.

"Lunch!"
"NO-THAT'S-MY-BREAK-FAST!"
I love this song so much. I grew up with The Land Before Time, Disney cartoons. Now I watch a lot of TV shows now. My mom bought he a lot of The Land Before Time on VHS when I was a kid big time.
I had the first through eighth which I think was the big freeze.
Movies back then were absolutely magical, in storytelling and scope. The beautiful scores were final icing on the cake 🎂. There's no magic or inspiration anymore 😢, seems to be all be political and personal agendas and corporate profit. I've noticed that most movies scores sounds very generic with "NO" heart or emotions. I really want to bringing the back those types of movies that I grew up with ever since I was toddler and younger ages in 2000s era with more "Absolutely Magical", "Storytelling" and "Scope". Even more "Heart and Emotion". There totally needs to be a time when humans really need to make a "True" animated movies that touched the soul and heart of the viewers of all ages. Somebody hand-drawn and computer animation, it's not just the movies, TV shows as well for all ages on Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Disney Channel, and the Walt Disney company needs to take there place in the circle of animations shows and movies for everyone. I hope sometimes in the future, My family would see the newspaper or different articles on the internet of their own cellphones 📱 about I finally got my dream job as "Ian Cassidy save the Walt Disney Company for bringing the 2-D animated style in order pay homage and tribute to past Disney's 2-D animated style movies were made in old glory days". "Ian Cassidy made his promise to have more Magic and/or Inspiration from 2-D animated movies from Disney". "Walt Disney Company made a agreement with Ian Cassidy to have Disney's 2-D animated style movies to have music to be more Heart and Emotion with Absolutely Magical, Storytelling and Scope as well". "The Walt Disney Company celebrated Ian Cassidy's birthday party for being our Savior of bringing the old school Disney 2-D animated style movies". I'm thinking Disney stuff never meant always for Kids, it's for everyone mostly adults back in the day, same with Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry, unlike nowadays everything is for kids and family. Movies back then taught us about importance of friendship, loyalty, kindness, compassion, determination, etc. A lot of movies do that, but there are still some good ones. The main ones that awful to me that are intentionally bad just for money, a cash grab. 😒 Cause The old Disney movies were so awesome had a little dark things that you don't see now those days in Disney movies. Movies still have an important message though but the movies are too sweet, there's a video Looney Tunes that they are soft and not that dangerous silliness we know. Because it's saver for the kids? I mean I can understand kids now those days are misunderstanding and would do anything for likes and views but making the cartoons soft won't change the fact that they grow up to be misunderstood, they become uncaring anyways because of the internet. People became too soft, real snowflakes. Wow, I really miss the good old days, when Cartoons were good. Today it's a quick cash grab, with use of effects and big names in the movies. I love the storytelling part, the sending a message to the audience, that's what should be, the soul and heart needs to come back in films and Hollywood became too powerful, meaning they can get away with making bad movies. Back then movies had individualist them, today it's about ideas like social justices and feminism. Those ideas take away from the true hero's journey and make it difficult to identify with the characters. This is the reason so many people nowadays just stick with the older movies, and the ones grew up with because that's precisely what those kinds of movies did for them. They were heartfelt, funny, for all the ages, full of value, and are consistently good every time you watch them. While one of the purposes was the company to make money, they still wanted to deliver a quality product to the viewers and it feels like they've lost that. We took for granted 💔 how well animated movies in 1990s and 2000s were, outside the animation being revolutionary for it's time, the writing was also well written that even being 30. I can still watch movies like Ice Age (2002) and actually enjoy. Yes and alot have avoided those powerful morally complex story's in favor of something safer. Sure the effects look amazing but heart isn't there anymore, The Toy Story series is an exception because of all fours have are capable of rivaling each other. Who says that Disney movies are just for kids? Adults can watch it as well, They have some life lessons which applies to both kids and adults. For example, what do we learn from The Little Mermaid, from my perspective, that movie learned us that never sell yourself to an evil person, also if the deal is bad, don't take it. What about Cinderella? It taught us that dreams can come true and no matter with circumstances be always good and kind. What about Pocahontas? Love conquer all and one must find their own way, other movies which has powerful messages, excellent music. Nowadays everything is must be political ,which is sad and heartbreaking 💔. I definitely want to bring it back for my dream job in the future. Movies today are made to appeal to as wide an audience as possible and make as much money as possible. Back in the day while profit and marketability was important producers and directors had more freedom to be creative and make movies that were original, innovative and memorable. People think it's all nostalgia goggles and being unfair to modern movies, but No. It's all the value and quality of the movies back then, the delivery, lessons everything all that is gone nowadays. Technology creates the story these days, not the soul of the writer. Like how back in the old good days, we didn't over-analyze anything. We just sat back and enjoyed stuff. 😉 Animated movies are not like what they once were, the effort, the details and the passion just aren't there anymore in modern animated movies, really sad. Movies in nowadays are made by algorithms, not people. Today's Cartoons don't have as many good, fun and exciting masterpieces as the old cartoons. Too political...everything has to have "a message"... and the sense of pure fun is missing. I also find alot of movies nowadays try to be comedy's with over the top cringey dialogue and try way to hard to be funny, Not everybody wants to be laughing throughout the entirety of the movie (Or so they expect us to be laughing). It seriously is heartbreaking to see all that hard work and time people put into a film only for it to be completely thrown out near the end because studio executives lost faith in it. I can't imagine how frustrating that is. We don't want or need a joke evey two seconds, just give us a movie where the serious scenes don't get ruined by an out of place joke. That's not how movies should be made, technology is supposed to simplify our lives, and should not mean taking responsibilities away from us altogether. Box Office movies nowadays wouldn't even hold a candle even to a classic cartoon like This (The Land Before Time) in terms of depth and feel. Those big hits feel like they are just watched because of their name brand, not because of the quality itself at all. Once you watch them, they make you feel like you just wasted your time leading up to it and the huge money of it too. That's why I feel like a winner when I don't watch the movies of this decade or even past decade.
You know the Guy who voiced Hip. Was the same kid from Jurassic Park who called the velociraptor a 10 foot Turkey
Johnathan Funk wait what?
I'm gooped😮
I always thought he was voice by the same guy who voiced Stoop Kid from Hey Arnold? I know his friend Nod is voiced by the same guy who plays Robin in Teen Titans

‘’When you’re big, you can step on little peoples toes’ how they know what a people is?!

because people doesnt necessarily mean human. Its just what we refer to lol

When you're big, you have to look after those who are smaller. You can't push people around. You can pick on people your own size, but you can't hurt kids. You have to use your strength to help others. When you're big you can carry a heavier burden on your shoulders.

This song is too catchy for a direct to video sequel
Dis song 🎶 is to hard like rock fr me.
The anthem of the rich, jacked bully from every 80s and 90s movie ever.
Sounds interesting
You know, this is the first song in the franchise that was written by Amanda McBroom and Michelle Bourman. They would remain the songwriters for the series for years. Not hard to think this song makes a good first impression for them! Maybe it was an audition song to write for the movie, maybe it wasn’t. But it’s not hard to think about it that way. Its a solid villain song!
This song perfectly defines bullies everywhere.

Sometimes bullies are made by their fathers. Just like Billy Hargrove from Stranger Things. They're not born this way, most of them are only misguided through life. And some dads are too harsh on their kids if they're angry people who don't think before they act on how their actions will effect other people's lifes.
