- In todays video we start ramming the posts for the new fence line that are replacing the hedges that I pulled out with the digger. Another truck load of fertilizer is coming as well

Hey I’m Andrew The Once A Day Farmer, I farm alongside my father on my family dairy farm in New Zealand.
Our Dairy system is quite unique as we only milk our 320 jersey cows Once A Day (hence the name), and they stay outside on grass for 365 days of the year!!

It would be great to see more videos with Doug and his tractor...
He should be back in summer at some point 👌
I love the sound of cows tearing the grass off for a mouthful. Love your Peterbilt hat too! I worked for Engs Motor Truck Company for probably 30 years. Great company to work for.
👌👍
Doug looks like a very neat and tidy work man. Super job on the fence posts. 🖒
Yeah he’s pretty good 👍
Awesome video as always my friend. Two is always better than one specially when it comes to milking. Now I no what you mean when you said you’d better of getting the professional fencers in. This chap Doug he doesn’t hang about, looks like a cracking job so far. Absolutely love seeing the 6 wheeler belting around the paddock’s, with that big white clouds behind it. You can’t beat seeing your cows with their heads down enjoying the grass. Thanks for sharing mate.
👍🙏
Great video again Andrew 👏
Great video, lots of good content, great craftmanship, good looking cows, awesome farmer and some offroad truck racing, had to ask for more :)
Thanks 🙏
Good job Doug, the farms looking good. Hope you get the rain
Thanks 🙏
Love the videos, from Ireland I worked in morrinsville for 6 months , milking 320 kiwi cross breeds here in Ireland
Ah sweet as Morrinsville’s not too far away at all!
Hi I like your video
The rammer beats the shovel
Without a doubt! 👍
Big help your dad is just there to do the fencing
Don’t think that’s his dad lol
Nah thats not my dad, Doug’s a cousin tho 👍
If we'd winters like that in Ireland, we wouldn't need a summer.
😂👍
0:03 Pause! nohomo😆😆
Love the old ISEKI is it a SX65? classic tractor! not often seen on youtube videos!
Hey, yeah it is a sx65. I think Doug just uses it for his fencing work.
No doubt you would if got all the rain this week! (And wind 😣) just need some sun. One week till dry off!
Yeah we did get a bit, not sure how much but it must’ve been like 50mm. Same here, I’m counting the days!
How big is the new shed going to be?
You should consider a rotary shed
Nah we’re not actually building a new shed I was just joking, but I would love one
Where abouts in New Zealand you based?
Just outside of Te Awamutu
@@TheOnceADayFarmer Fair play, I did a lot of fencing a few years back in the Manawatū region
Be some nice hilly fence lines down there 👍
@@TheOnceADayFarmer Yeah not much tractor work at all, a lot done by hand boring.
Good old Dougie hes my neighbor
Ahh true! 👍
