Nice video man!!! Old 2 stroke skis are the best!! I currently have limited 93 blaster! Hands down the most fun you can have on a sit down ski period. Hopefully will make it a 1100 triple soon. The spark will never be anything close to the blaster.
Without looking for a part number the EXR grate is the same as the 2022 JetBlaster visually. Just got my riva one. The fins are similar but placed differently, slightly different curve to the fins. The parallel bars of the grate extend past the flat of the rear.
I needed a couple pointers on reinstalling my wife's EX intake grate and found this video helpful. What lake were you riding on at the end? We ride the Colorado just north of Yuma. Also just subbed ✌️
Glad it was helpful. Lake Pleasant is what we are on in the video. It is our local lake but do hit Canyon, Saguaro, and Havasu on occasion. The Colorado is the best IMO. We used to have a place on the Parker Strip and miss it every day 😢. Thanks for the sub!!!
The stock EXR / Jetblaster intake grate is the best you can get. I bought a Riva intake grate for my '23 Jetblaster, and it does not hook up as well the stock intake grate. Cavitates way more than the stock grate. Kinda disappointed. However, fhe Riva ride plate was a massive inprovement.
@@jdlmon64 Helped with porpoising. Not sure if it's unique to mine but the how liked to porpoise (bounce up and down) a lot. Also helped get on plane a bit quicker, gained 1mph top speed, and made a huge difference in the amount of grip while turning really hard. You won't notice that last one unless you ride aggressively and really throw the ski into corners, but if you do, I am sure the back end has slid out and you've spun around or maybe even been thrown off. The ride plate made it much harder for it to slide.
@@BaoNguyen-un1km there is more than just the partitions but if you have the welding skill, why not? $40 for the EXR grate seems like a better investment to me including time.
You really should put more silicone around the grate where it meets the impeller housing. All along the ramp. Then smooth it out along the edge where it meets the hull and wear-ring. By doing this you will stop some cavitation and make sure you’re not pulling in the air into the pump.
Not yet. No need for me to order the full kit now since I have the sponsons, ride plate, impeller, and tune (check out my other videos). Air intake kit will be next. Stay tuned!
This particular example is for the Waverunner EX model line. Not sure if Sea Doo has different intake grates throughout model trim levels but worth investigating.
Finally someone did a full review and install 🙌🏾 thanks man great work
Thank you!

Nice job !
Thanks!
Looks like the rear bolts don't need as much silicone because they don't go through to the inside of the hull

Good to know. Thanks for the feedback!
@Robtuse_ what did you think of the riva grate please Vs Jetblaster grate?
Do you like that Riva grate for your Jetblaster?

What improvements did the ride plate do? I have been thinking of getting one just want to know what benefit it will give me.

I wonder if you could just weld in the partitions to the original intake and save a boat load of money

is a Riva Stage 1 kit on the way?

Any video on the tune can’t see one?
Sorry. Just saw your comment. My tune was combined with the impeller video but did not capture any actual tuning on the ski.
Any improvements?
Yes. FF the vid to 16:00. 👍🏻
Are they available for seadoo’s
