Your tracks are just awesome man. This one in particular. I have been looking for this backing track everywhere!!! So helpful for the guitar playing community. Thank you for your great contributions!!!
@@nowyoushred watch him play it live. He learned his improv parts. They recorded the entire song as a jam, the keyboard solo wasn’t planned and neither was any of it. The song was just improv. He didn’t think in scales and theory. He just played the ways he knew how and from emotions. It was something we still haven’t seen done as well by anyone else. To think he is just slapping pentatonic scales up isn’t true at all, and a lot of it isn’t minor, it is the blues scale mixed in with whatever his licks were and they worked. He just knew from so much practice and time with the instrument his ear and soul were in tune.
@@mitchellmanning8689 if you break his licks from the song down they do stem from the minor pent, which there is nothing wrong with. He made it sound like a different scale entirely
@@coconuts1483 It’s one of the things about him I just can’t get over, he takes something so theoretically simple and makes it basically impossible. It was just true art, he probably did know more theory than he gave himself credit for.
I've played it a few times its very touchy thanks for the reply all your tracks are great to jam with have you any Stones backing tracks like can't you hear me knocking or gimmie Shelter ?
+Now You Shred Jam Tracks Online question, I know the natural minor scale (aeolian) can just add the notes in from that ,without trying to turn it into a differnt mode

Beautiful
Love this song an need to get a break down of the movement an get started on it. Stevies masterpiece
Yeah, this one can be pretty complex if you want it to be. Or you can just smash a minor pentatonic over the whole thing like Stevie Ray does!

These backing tracks are also great for keyboard and bass.

Rivera paradise
2:06 Emaj7 - F#7 and the scale E Lydian (B major)

Always thought about making some of those - will definitely get around to it eventually
Great thanks also if you can something like Robin Trower Bridge of Sighs
YEEESSS
Pink Floyd Breathe and sabbath planet caravan :)
Definitely all in the same vein
I shouldn't be messing with th3 modes yet. I just learned th3 cage system and need to learn triads and chord tones next before I go any further
+Thunder Death 2 Keep it simple with the Eb minor Pentatonic! Or tune your axe to Eb and play in the people's key of E Minor!
+Now You Shred Jam Tracks Online will do man thanks. love you videos they've helped me along so much

Remember modes have arpeggios in them. Don’t learn modes by shape only. It’s all related. Your learning correctly though good attitude.
all my es and 3s
Why just don´t play what you feel I´ll play this one friday afternoon
+Chris Lysholt Yah dude, or that!
