@Howie262 VW does make a 1.6 Beetle... it just may not be available in your market. The car in the vid is the 2 litre, but its obvious they're just using the car for the filmography. All the specs they quoted for the 1.6 are correct, and pricewise, it'll be this version that will compete with the Mini Cooper
I don't know which one I would pick, it would depend on what type of car I wanted. If I wanted something easy and comfortable, vw, if I was a sportier type of driver, mini. Both these cars are great reincarnations of the originals, the vw is a calm driver, easy, etc. the mini is a smaller faster car with a go-cart driving experience. But I drive a 1999 Bug a I love it so it won in my book;)
