It is good that you mentioned there is enzyme in the melon that prevents jelly from forming if the melon juice is not cooked. Excellent info and video.
That's beautiful to look at, and looks delicious to eat. I can't eat that sort of food right now but I'm going to save this recipe and after I've lost some weight I'm going to splurge on it. I wonder if I can get Japanese melon if my big Asian superstore? I'm guessing cantaloupe would be the next best substitution. Thanks and see you soon..
It's my first time to see a melon packaged so luxuriously! Anyway, I am bookmarking this recipe. We just finished melon season, though they're available year round here in Manila. This time, we have an abundance of avocados and dragon fruit!

And you will need more gelatin than other ingredients. Thanks for watching!

Yes, I think cantaloupe is similar to Japanese melon as long as it's ripe and sweet. Do not go too strict on your diet!! Thanks for watching!
can the melon jelly be prepared with agar agar instead?
Hi, i don’t eat gelatin. Can i use agar powder instead? If so how much to substitute?
I've a question, can you please tell me some Benefits of Dashi?

Ima Purnomo Arigato ❤,
So it is true people give fruits as a gift in Japan? Is it because it is expensive?
You are right! Expensive melon is for gift. We exchange gift in summer and at the end of the year. Thanks for watching!
