This is definitely my favorite piece on your channel, and the other horn players were amazing as well. This is very "together". I've been considering this, but how? Was there a click track on the original or perhaps this newly arranged midi to make sure some players weren't "ahead" or "behind" the beat?
Yes ! Everyone had a click track and the other horns in midi to play with :)
@@Marc_Papeghin Thanks Marc! So far, even trying to record multiple versions of myself without any click track has resulted a very loose recording. I will see how i can get a click track going in Reaper if they offer that.

I love watching Princess Mononoke so I had to look up something I could play. I love playing the horn so much, I'm so glad I chose it for its funky shape. This was so beautifully done, I hope that I can get to this level of playing hehe

With the exception of Emma Gregan, I recognize these horns from the Band of Brothers collab. But just subbed to Emma for that wonderful bass portion of the quintet. Truly an amazing piece once again!
Edit: Emma Gregan was also in that collab, and I feel awful for not remembering her in that.
That was so beautiful!!!! There used to be a video exactly like this that I listened to pretty much every day(it was a horn quintet of this same song!) but it got canceled. I'm so glad you made it again. This music is so beautiful and all you guys are amazing!! Thank you for this video!
Thank you Eve ! The original video was indeed taken down by Ghibli a few months ago because of the footage I used from the movie, so I decided to make this new version :)

How? How you get such a good quality of the recording? I try the same thing with a room with acoustic treatment but the only thing that I can get is a poor and husk sound. How do you make to master horns?
