This video shows content creators who use Sony Vegas Pro a workaround for when it keeps freezing while rendering. I discovered this while making dank stock trading videos.

It didn't work. 38% is it's new favourite number to freeze on. It got stuck on 97% once, that really annoyed me. 6 times now....Vegas is awful. I've seen video time lines loads more complex than mine, and I never get this complex myself. So this is just lame. Thanks for the video though! At least I know I can do something I never knew I could before.

Do you know if this works for videos over an hour in length with about 50 lines of edits? I am willing to try but can’t try till tomorrow. Just wondering if this will work or if I should keep searching for other ways to fix my freezing issue

is there a way to do this that preserves track vfx and resample settings? every time i do this it removes a couple plugins from the video and forces resample on.

Hey man, I just finished your wheel strategy video. Now I am wondering, does that strategy outperform buy and hold the S&P?
In a bear market, the wheel will outperform. In a flat market, the wheel will also outperform. In a bull market like we have now, it has the potential to underperform.
A way to get around that is to sell OTM covered calls and sell ITM covered puts. That way, you can take advantage of more of the increases. I’ve been using this on QQQ and I’m outperforming the index by about 4%. The wheel shines much brighter in flat markets.

Everyone who is going to say it keeps freezing. Do these steps
1. Save your project as a file so when you open it, all the clips are condensed into one.
2. Render your video (Use HD 1080p 29.97FPS)
3. If it freezes, close the program and do step 1&2 again.
4. Keep doing steps 1-3 until the render finishes.
(It might take multiple tries. Mine took 7)

@@joaopedroalmeidateixeira4431 in the "customize template" section after you select "render as", there's an option called "allow source to adjust frame rate". Tick that box and it might render out smooth for you.

I have this ' stopped working" problem also , but my problem is It can't even open the 'render' tab and it will directly pop out "Vegas has stopped working'. I have tried many ways by turning off its GPU, enable multi to FALSE and so on. So any way to solve it ? Really need help ,Thank you.

Try rendering that small spot, then add the rendered video back into the original project.

Didn't work for me. instead of getting to 23%, now it just goes to 7%. Vegas Pro is so annoying.

I have the render stuck problem and i try different method like this and it didn't work :/ I identified where the problem (a simple transition between two clips but i didn't find any solution :( )
Try rendering just the few seconds around the transition point as a new clip, then stick it back in.

i've juste changed my transition multiple time to get something ok and without any rendering shit stucks
petitmoi my only recommendation would be to cut a couple seconds around the transition point, don’t replace it with anything, and see if you can render without it to determine if it’s the actual transition effect you’re using that’s causing the problem, or if it’s something else in the vid.
Unfortunately I haven’t had that problem so I can’t advise how to fix it.

SAIF Safwat I’ve run into that problem once. Solve it by seperately rendering your soundtrack, then add it to your new vid. You’ll have separate video and audio tracks, but they’ll be synched.

Is there a file imported that begins at 24%? Sometimes imported files are corrupted and freeze.
SOMETIMES there is a problem with the clip so it will always freeze at that same clip. Try going through your whole project and see if there are any parts you don't need or parts that are quite big, and split them up to make it easier to render
@@w..r.i.z.z this happens to me. i put a glint effect right on a kill so rights as the rendering hits that glint effect spot it freezes the render. what do i do.i cant just delete the kill.
