This design decent enough for iron, but there are other, less compact designs that are at least as good for iron, but also allow you to manage and trade with villagers the same time. With a design that keeps villagers confined to their work stations, you can train a bunch of them to be blacksmiths, toolsmiths, and armorers. These professions will pay you emeralds for your iron, which you can then trade right back to them in exchange for diamond tools, weapons, and armor. Throw in some librarians and alchemists, and you’ll have a fast, efficient, and renewable source of diamond gear, xp from conducting trades, specific control over which enchantments you want (provided you’ve collected a team of librarians with those desired enchantments preserved in books that they sell), and if built properly: more spare iron and emeralds than you’ll even be able to trade with, given the limited number of trades a villager can offer you per day. PS: i suggested having a few alchemists on the team too because they sell lapis and xp bottles, which you can spend your spare change on after you buy out the whole team’s stock of weapons and armor for that day. Alchemists also sell a few other items like ender pearls, glow stone, and red stone, which is quite handy when you don’t wanna run around looking through your chests or searching for more in the wild.

Great videos. I’m sure you know but iron golems don’t care about slabs. On bedrock 1.19, iron golems spawn +\-8 horizontal and +\-6 vertical from village center (one of the bed pillows in this case). There are ways to tell which one is village center but not worth the work. Just stack the beds side by side, 5 deep.
You just have to fit this logic into a build: Villagers needs to be able to sleep in their own beds (around 3 villlagers is good) Villagers need job sites VIllagers need to keep seeing a zombie (for a second they shouldn't be able to see the zombie so they can sleep for a bit but then a second later zombie should be back in sight) If a villager sees the zombie, they request an iron golem nearby, if you build the farm high they will not be able to request it on the floor so it will request it on the nearest spawnable platform, which is most likely the highest part of the build where there is water flowing to lava If you think about it, it can actually be very small
One small thing I noticed with the cow farm is that the button press didn't leave enough time for the lava to flow out to both blocks before it got picked back up, so I replaced it with a lever and it works great. Might this be a small difference between Java and Bedrock?
