I cried happy tears the second I saw the free mom and dad hugs. Sheesh! I've never been to a pride event before as I'm afraid there will be a shooter or something but I'd love to go.
Thats exactly what "shooter or something" want.... that gays stay at home and don`t show up. thats why we have to go out to pride, clubs, festivals, even if we are afraid. it is important to live our life how we want it, not how "shooter or something" want. don`t give them the power over you, you should do what ever you want!

I finally went to my first pride event two weeks ago, in my hometown. My cousin and her wife were two of the organizers of the event, so I wanted to go show my support. It was such a fun, positive, and accepting event. I broke into tears several times over who loving and supportive everyone was ❤️. I expected there to be more drama and maybe some haters protesting, but there was none of that 👍.
