Im in the same boat fwiw. I had six and sold two locally on fb yesterday. I have a playset just in case and they will reprint it. I quit modern when mh2 came out and dont think the unbanning changes that for me. Im playing edh if at all and I have 2 legacy decks.

@@LoganJames-t3g I think it would be surprising if they reprinted it with such a recent mox reprint with Amber for BRO in retro, schematic, and serialized forms. Opal was a Secret Lair drop in 2022, reprinted in 2XM in 2020. So, recently reprinted already IMO
Mox Opal has long-term value, in any event. Unbans do not necessarily mean reprints. Perhaps there will be more artifact interaction that justifies an unban or new format? Perhaps they are mitigating the anger over Jeweled Lotus and Mana Crypt? Speculation is fun. I bought a foil borderless 2XM for $180 after tax. No regrets.
I really can imagine that mox opal gets a reprint in final fantasy.....wouldnt say serialized...that would be too much.... but reprint will come sooner than we think
