Please in case your wondering the way Jin woo was able to stop the attic of blood red Igris was because the armor he equipped has a special ability to block any attack on that particular,to like stop the attack.
Some details left off that some people might ask about: Yes, Jinwoo was weak compared to Igris, but when he was on the throne, he used that opportunity from Igris last attack to hold his sword (with his recent armour), and then he used all his strength to throw Igris sword away, stab him in the eye with his ability "Fatal Strike" (which gives a critical hit in the enemy's weak spot) and pushed Igris against the wall, then he proceeded to stab him again multiple times in the eye and below the chin, where the armour has less protection, using ALMOST ALL of his mana with multiple abilities of "Fatal Strike" (cost 70 mana) + he used his passive ability of "Dagger proficiency" which gives him 33% all stats when using daggers, he got both of those abilities in episode 10 (last ep). And also, Igris was holding back, it will be explained much more ahead at the end of the anime. You can call that plot armour but I call that luck and right use of opportunity. And also, for those who read the Igris side story, they tell his perspective of the fight, and how he holds back with Jinwoo, with no intention to kill him.
I think there won't be any cliffhanger at the end of episode 12, but trust me you will be CRAVING for more Jinwoo as you are gonna witness the birth of Drip-woo the broken character of Solo Leveling world

The Main Jeju Island raid wont be coming uptill season 3 from where we are ending the season 1 cour 1 i say there are like 3 major arc's and 2 mini arc's between this episode and the main jeju island raid. You can say that all this that we saw was just prologue the real Solo leveling story starts from episode 12.

A "job" in most video games, like role playing games, is your specialization basically. Like archer, swordsman, mage, assassin are jobs. He's doing this quest to get his official specialization that will come with bonus stats and abilities.

👉👉👉Here is a info that the fans miss or forget .....after finally defeating Igris the Blood Red Commander, Jin Woo is judged on his performance in his Job Change Quest that this entire dungeon was centered around, and even if something weird didn’t happen he would have gotten a good class, but because of an interesting circumstance where Jin Woo actually forgot to do his daily quests that day, he was actually sent to the Penalty Dungeon for a full 24 hours, where he was able to use items, refresh himself and even buy a few weapons that came in handy during the battle. The good thing is, this time that Jin Woo spent inside of the penalty dungeon also counted towards the time that he spent inside of the Job Change Quest, and given that he’s handed extra points and a better job for every minute he stayed inside, it’s no surprise that when it’s time for Sung Jin Woo to unlock his first job, he’s given the highest grade ......i wont say what class he choose 😅 wait for the next episode and the the legendary ARISE scene
Theory: If Igris doesn't drop his guard and keep attacking, he wasn't supposed to be lose that fight... Although Jin Woo already beaten Igris, his level wasn't enough to achieve the job change quest. That's why the system keeps sending the knights to boost his level to acquire the specific level he needs for the job change quest.
