- I made a glowing wall sconce from maple burl veneer and wenge and I think it turned out pretty cool :)

These are my favorite sconces ... I love the 'glow' of them, without a direct hard light source, which I never wanna see.

Love it! I think you should swap the less though, I think something around 2700 Kelvin will make it feel like the warmth from the maple burl is spilling out.
