    I read that sink holes are naturally occurring in that area and that was what started this whole mystery. I was on the island in the fall of 1987 with a lady friend one Sunday afternoon after driving from Halifax. I can honestly say that I got lucky on Oak Island.

    Oak Island Treasure Found? You don’t need to watch this video, that question mark says it all. That’s right, treasure not found.

    it took massive equipment to get this far down, but pirates in the 17th century did it with shovels.

    • @johnwoa
      @johnwoa 8 років тому +15

      I don't think it was pirates. If you take into account the 150+ foot man-made "artificial" beach at Smith's Cove, the box drains underneath that beach and the flood tunnel(s) leading to the Money Pit, this was way beyond the scope of a bunch of cutthroat pirates. This was a major feat of mining and marine engineering!

      Neal Stapel the entire island was built by the same being whose footprints of multiple sizes are embedded in a lava flow in South Africa, the same being who leveled the Nazca Plateau, the same being who is responsible for the mural on the cliff face of Mt. Roriama in South America and whose hair follicle is the sacred stone in Mecca- the staff of which is in Birmingham museum in England.

      David Henneberg lightning in the heavens is a rogue star traveling at near the speed of light. That the Apostolic Church hundreds of years later turned that truth into a lie and called their lie Satan is almost unforgivable considering the amount of people they slaughtered to keep the truth hidden and control the masses. The Son of Man created the Goliath Footprints and Oak Island. You are calling the Son of Man Satan due to the lies of a false church and their fake papal (in place of Christ) authority. Be careful of false saviors offering salvation at a price, they lead many to destruction.

    What I can't figure out is, who was capable of digging such an elaborate trap/pit/hoax/misdirection in the first place. We've got modern machines, sensors and mining/drilling equipment that the people who first did this work, obviously did not have access to. I'm leaning more towards the first group merely stumbled across existing natural crevices/faults/cracks/caves and merely worked backwards with much less effort.

    It is interesting how these haters go on...Anyone ever teach you, If you haven't anything nice to say, Just don't say anything. This adventure televised or not, is not at any of your expense. It is the Lagina's & their partners. It is run like a business, ( As it should be ) X amount budgeted for the season. But History Channels job is to entertain. And if you are not entertained..Tune Out.... No need for all this discouragement. I personally do not care if it takes 5 more seasons. I would love to have the ability to be part of that team....Exploration of the History is even more valuable than any treasure unearthed there. Like in all things...The Truth is Out There!

I've just seen on Polynesians -Navigators in the PACIFIC OCEAN Use a set of Stars called the SOUTHERN CROSS which look like the same slightly off cross shape of those rocks on Oak Island.

      I have wasted my time watching it. I get sick of them repeating the same thing over and over about the Knights Templers and Masons.
      About all shows leading to no findings. How about repeated trips to the Swamp and other places. Best event was finding old coins with a metal detector. Millions of dollars spent so far, but by who. Not the brothers or they would be broke. Costs paid by the producers of this TV show.

    I do have a background in Archaeology and have been on some digs in California. The very first thing they should have done was a complete surface reconnaissance of the entire island. They could have had a team of guys with metal detectors conduct a grid patter sweep of each of the sections on the island. There is a show on National Geographic called Diggers. Though the two stars over react at their findings, the methodology they use on the show is real and it’s affective. The so called metal detector expert that the Lagina’s use doesn’t even run any grid patterns and sort of just metal detects in an unorganized and random patter. A complete surface reconnaissance would maybe help them determine who came to the island and when and they would have found a lot more artifacts than they currently have found.

    I don't understand why they don't just throw a shitload of corn into the tunnel enterence so it stops the water from filling up the tunnels like it says on the tablet? I think they're gonna find something big down there. Why would they go through so much trouble in building it in the first place. The former slave must of found some treasure in order to buy all those lots on the island. It's finally starting to get good now. This season started out really slow !!! The brothers seem like really cool guys & deserve to be rewarded for their never quit attitude & all the money they've risked!!! Best of luck!!!

    Ok, the island shows the same shape (or close to) some other land. Where on the other land was the treasure? Why wouldn't that mean that the treasure would be found in the same spot as the other land? That makes sense to me. Line the map over the other land and match it up.

    Let's ignore how ridiculous it is that 300-400 years ago people buried this deep and in 2017 they can barely do it. Let's go ahead and say there is a treasure chest down there.
    It doesn't make sense to hide a treasure and have absolutely no way of ever retrieving it. How come there is no way to get to it? No special tunnel or something? Would you hide a treasure that deep and then have one day to spend money equal to the amount you buried just for the sake of digging it out? It doesn't make sense.

    Why don't they just send sewage robots through the box drains underneath the beach or better still just block them off thus stopping the constant flooding and enter through them later on. Honestly, the treasure is long gone, I think that Samuel Ball found the lot and that's how he made his riches even though he was probably exploited and only given a fraction of the treasures true value. Would be interesting to find out if Samuel Ball has any close, living relatives.

Chatterton couldn't find any hits on a subsequent dive and the team is putting C-1 on the back burner for now as they get ready to re-visit 10 X and dig a third bore hole somewhere in the vicinity of the lost money pit. This most recent episode was nothing but bad news and wishful thinking with the Migma artifact.

    They will lose viewers first ,Sponsors second and their credibility was characterized as a scam even earlier. Their prime objective has been for a long time to scoop as much of their investment back and get their asses out of there ASAP.

    Have they not lost more money finding the treasure than they could get back ? Is it even a real place ? Or just actors ?

      Place is real, the treasure is fake, it's just a silly legend. And yeah, they're actors. They're not losing money, they're paying for a show to earn money.

      Hub Aveng yes actually it was embedded in the Goliath Footprints in South Africa- top right corner of big toe ripped off stopping the lava flow. When you see the Kaaba as the hair follicle it is and understand that Aaron's rod is the shaft of it which was last held in Birmingham museum under the auspices of being the staff of Tuthmosis then it all begins to make more sense providing you are capable of setting aside preconceived notions such as David killed Goliath even though he had Goliath's face. David played with his hands by changing the size of them each individually. It is one thing when it is all just heresay from people alive thousands of years ago, but when the summer solstice of his choosing comes and in the midst of a throng of unsuspecting sun worshippers he cubes the measure of his physical being, then what?

      Flood tunnels to protect the treasure. Pirates or whoever did not have the man power, the time or the know how to do this. It is nothing but a waste of time expecting them to find any treasure. What a joke it has become. They fill in lots of TV time by repeating and repeating the same old crap.

    Started out as a very interesting show but the brothers need to find something (quick) that is worth real $. You can only yank peoples chains for so long until they switch channels. The show was shot several months ago so if they found anything historic or economic value news would have leaked out months ago.

    • @johnwoa
      @johnwoa 8 років тому

      Maybe not! I live here in eastern Canada and there is literally a news blackout on ANYTHING regarding Oak Island, possibly because the searchers are under contract with the History Channel to keep any discoveries hidden from the mainstream press. Remember, this sensation-oriented TV show is all about making lots of money, not keeping serious-minded people informed. For example, when the renowned Oak Island searcher Fred Nolan died last June, there was NOTHING in the news and we all found out about it just recently in this show. Also, the Nova Scotia provincial government is heavily involved with these Oak Island excavations and, if anything of historical significant importance was discovered that could possibly destabilize world affairs or governments (e.g., if a significant religious tomb was discovered), the Provincial and Federal governments might step in, classify the find and keep it from the public. It wouldn't surprise me if that happened!

    • @dryheat85255
      @dryheat85255 8 років тому

      Destabilize world affairs??? I think you are reaching a little bit. Well actually I think you are reaching a lot. There is likely a very interesting story behind the tunnel system, money pit, etc. but I think it is unlikely that the brothers will unravel the story and uncover what is hidden before they run out of money. Story line for next year will be "Brothers sell out to Trump who promises to JV with Russians to solve Oak Island riddle and pay off national debt".

    • @hrhphiliparthurlouisdougla8475
      @hrhphiliparthurlouisdougla8475 8 років тому

      dryheat85255 destabilizing the world is accurate if you know what is really there, what they have already found and themselves may not realize because of the clay covering it. All they need do is remove the clay and the world will be inundated by a faceted gemstone of a remarkable size, and that is just the beginning- speaks nothing to the shell of a giant music box and the lifesized porcelain ballerina peices they are calling "plates", or of the golden disks she danced atop which are now the possession of the Mormons.
