  • Today I go over one of my favorite hobbies which is 3D Printing. What makes this unique and not many know I use my 3D printer often to print E-Bike accessories and parts! Come watch as I take you through a very basic overview of 3D printing and how you can get into this fun hobby for your E-Bike for under $199!!
I was provided this X1 Carbon with no requirements. Bambu Labs did not request a video nor did they sponsor this video. Bambu Labs had no direction in the content nor did they request any. I am just thankful for their support in bringing this great hobby to the E-Bike community!
Get your Bambu Labs A1 Mini right now for $179 with the code on their site us.store.bambu...
If you want the X1 Carbon Combo I used in this video it is $1,299

Awesome Dave! I’ve always wanted a 3D printer, but all those issues you mentioned with the others is why I’ve waited. I really like that one.

    Excellent vid Dave!
I've been interested in 3d printers for a while now, only problem is I don't even have a pc (just use my phone for UA-cam/email etc) but one day I'd love to get one.
This vid has given me a LOT of useful insight into how it all works, and I love how for around $400/500 I could get started (although I'm UK and we work in £'s 😅)...
Really enjoyed watching a print in action, and I know if I had one I'd be sat mesmerized watching it at work 😂
One thing I'm going to soon be saving for is a bigger than 52v20ah battery, I want to step-up to either a 60, or 72v battery with powerful cells etc.. but after this I think a 3d printer (and a cheap pc) will be on my 'to get' list.
Cheers & Great vid Dave, it was very inspirational to a total novice to all things 3d printed.

Mickey that’s awesome to hear. You could use your phone for all. You’d be shocked how good the application is. I really wanted to give more education to our community and this series is going to be very fun!
Once again your support is greatly appreciated. Happy New Year my friend!🎉

@StayConnectedEV I recently made 2 X torque plates (same as torque arms, but bolted to frame) for my recent e-build, and I thought whilst making them, "these could be made using a 3d printer I'll bet?!" - As although I'd made them using thin steel plate (very strong) but I reckon if at least 4-5mm thick then they'd be strong enough if printed with a hard enough medium.

@@MickyBee73 Thats what I love when ebike owners start wondering what other options you can do! That was my goal for this series.
