Besides the music, this kid makes it pretty easy to get onboard. Down to earth, humble, zero black metal posturing. It’s a nice shift from the arms-crossed, uber-nihilist norm, with grade A songs to back it up.
Blackbraid I is 100% my metal album of the year.

Looking forward to the rough framing concept album! .....I find it interesting how we speak of unsavory influential bands and how they should be looked at. I figure if a band becomes legendary before their negative aspects become public knowledge, we still must acknowledge their greatness, with an asterisk of course. Metal must accept its history.
