My mom is a hero to so many people. She's a stay-at-home mom until she finishes school to become a nurse. She takes care of her three daughters (14, 12, and 8) and her 65 year old mother with vascular dementia. She cooks for all of us and my dad and his dad. She does everything she can for my grandpa on my dad's side because we recently lost my grandma. She does so many things for us and I could never live without her. I love you mom

Reading all the comments makes me realize how wonderful it must be to have a mom. I have a mom, but she's in a mental hospital. I visit her everyday I can, but she doesn't know who I am. My dad is dying, and only has about a month to live. I'm 14, and these comments have shown me how great life can be. Thank you all for showing me the happiness of having a mother.

This reminds me of the relationship between my mom and grandma. The only exception is that my grandma lives halfway across the country. My mom only sees her twice a year, but for the two weeks that my mom gets to see grandma, I know that she spends hours with her. When I first heard it, I was young and couldn't understand the meaning, but now that I'm older, it makes me cry and want time to just stop because I never want my momma to leave me. What's scary is that she smokes so she is susceptible to lung cancer. So I don't want to lose her early. I haven't had the best relationship with her and now we're better so I want to keep her with me forever. I love my momma.

Today, after many months of fighting with my mom, I admitted to her that the only reason I don't want to live with her anymore is because I want her to miss me and love me like when I was a little girl.
