I tried the Nearly Apricot blush with a combination of my finger and a brush. It worked very well.

It seems like every UA-camr who has reviewed this collection has come to a consensus that this new blush is not the bees knees. I absolutely love her previous liquid blushes though
@Orchid Kluemai I keep seeing the new one take makeup off underneath. The original one I have goes on perfectly and doesn’t take my foundation or power off. And it lasts all day❤️

Could it be that the reason the blush wasn't working as good is cause she put the cream blush on top of her translucent powder?? Cause I've seen other youtubers review this and they set their face after putting the blush.

I personally have found that blush to be really great! I like using a wet beauty blender to make it a stronger look, and just my fingers for a sheer look. Part of it is just at the very beginning when you buy it, it doesn’t seem to work quite as well. Once you get past that first layer it’s amazing

Try blending the blush with a brush ! Sometimes using the fingers can remove the makeup

I used the Nearly Apricot lip gloss balm over my Beekman 1802 CBD milk stick. It worked rather nicely.
It probably works best directly on the liquid foundation before setting powder.
I think it is nice for the minimalistic approach and/or the person just getting into makeup. The colors looked nice on you!💗 Think it's a pass for me as there are so many other products for one and done I would rather spend my money on. 💕💗💄
I find they the Rate Beauty products work best if you apply your powders after.
Another you tuber I watched used a semi fluffy brush for the blush and didn't have lifting and it looked really pretty. She also only lightly powdered her face before adding the blush.

I think these blushes are not meant to be put on top of powder tbh it probably works better with liquids🤔

The blush was bunching up because you used a powder under it. Never use cream over powder without using a mist first to hydrate the skin.
I wear cream blushes over powder or foundation all the time. The flexible formulas work over anything, but this one is not it. You have to be very careful with it
Maryam do you think the blush would work ok if I do cream foundation/concealer, blush, and then set with powder after? Like do you think that would help with the cakiness/lifting? :)
probably would depend on the foundation. If you're working with a dewier foundation, then it would probably be ok. But I don't think a matte foundation or powder would work under this... Unless you do a super light touch

Which one you prefer setting powder or setting spray?
they don't do the same thing, I always use powder, and can live without setting sprays
I wanted to see how each eyeshadow look.. on its own. Dont think many will be buyin all the collection of eyeshadows.
I had a full head of teasy lights done on my hair so they’ve grown out without any demarcation almost like an ombré. It looks like I’ve purposely did this to my hair and you can’t really tell that I haven’t had my roots done in about a year 😭. I’m torn between just dying my hair back to my natural brown color or to just rock this look a little bit longer. I love blonde but I’m over the damage it causes so I’m probably never going to touch the roots up again. Seeing her rock her ultra low dipped ombré kinda encourages me to keep this look for a little while longer. Maybe another year?? 😭😅🤣. It’s not a look everyone can wear but on her it looks awesome. 😎😍

I'm confused why u used powder before using a cream
because i'm excessively oily and it's how I have to set my foundation. I do this with all cream blushes, fenty, the original rare and it's no problem, but here it would have to go under foundation

I feel like the blush is too greasy too balmy And bcuz of that it’s picking up ur base. In my opinion i think her liquid blushes are better and definitely more pigmented. I feel like Selena is a very minimal makeup kinda girl Ans that’s who this brand is for
That’s the thing, I didn’t think it was greasy at all, so I thought it would stick and build up nicely. I guess I gotta give it some practice ☺️

for some reason, I’m not a fan of the theme “Stay Vulnerable”...dunno why exactly - I’m ALL for vulnerability BUT I’m also about female strength...not to get too deep, but I mainly only show my deepest vulnerability to people closest to me... anyhoo, I don’t get the theme regarding a makeup collection, like it’s TRYING to hard...anyhoo, completely random sidetracked rant over lol 🤷🏻♀️ pretty ass colors tho - but I also wished they sold them in color sets (at a discount, not only individually sold)...if they did, I’d prob buy lots of them

She's always been passionate about makeup. If she didn't make it as a singer/actor is think she still would've gone for makeup :D
