Oops, sorry. (not sorry, lol) It is a perfect name for a big old slow moving beast, isn't it? I'm sure there could be more than one Bantha. We just watched the new Boba Fett show this week, and there are a few other options that seem like a good fit. Cheers to you! Let us know what name you end up using.
One cool feature with the LMTV's is that you can use each truck to supply air to each other if you have all the accessories in the BII (Basic Issue Item) box there are extra air lines. So literally each truck could tow each other if you have the tow bar along with the air lines
Well just found you guys one of the other channels giving a tour and absolutely love your show so far. We just bought our first clase in the fall and if this thing works out with the princess I think I’m gonna be looking for one of those :-)
Hey, so glad you found us and thanks for watching. We are total rookies when it comes to making videos, so you must have patience. Pssst....we will be putting one of these up for auction soon, not the built one, the raw one. You are the first to know.
Love what you all have done so far! My wife was following van life and tiny home videos. I always felt the vans were cool but limited. What you all have done is something that has opened my mind to a different way of travelling and provides more options on a sturdy foundation. Did you retro fit anything to your water tank to keep the water from freezing in the colder months or, do you not take it out when it's that cold? In the 1st video I saw, you mentioned that the heater it came with was rated for the Arctic so, I know it's capable of cold weather ops.
Those trucks look like the perfect choice for off road RV'ing. I can see why you favor them. But on a unrelated question, is there a reason the military chose that odd color of green for the interior? It makes my eyes hurt, lol! The white interior color you chose to go with would seem to be the logical choice since it helps brighten up things.
We lived with those green walls for several months when we first started overlanding. It was a bit much! I found this about the color: www.ar15.com/forums/general/Why-are-the-interiors-of-US-military-equipment-painted-mint-green-/5-2179350/
I saw the floors in the slide outs coming down in one of the videos of your first truck. How usable is the interior when the slides are not out? Do you have AC in the cab of your first truck? What did you end up paying for your second truck?
Hey there, thanks for watching and commenting, much appreciated! The interior is quite usable when folded up. We specifically designed it so we could use it either way. That being said, we only use it folded up when it's been a really long drive day and we are only stopping for some shut-eye. On occasion, we don't have enough space to extend both tip outs, so we can use none, 1 or both. We do not have AC in the cab of either truck. (yet) The second truck was $75K - no mods yet. Cheers!

Looks like you all are in for an incredible journey. Quick question. There is a a chemical reaction or hormone release that take place just after giving birth. So from how I remember the doctor describing it. That causes short term memory loss. I'm guessing something similar has happened to the both of you. How much do you believe the nostalgic of your 1st build out has affected your rational to take on another build of this magnitude? My hat off to you and very excited to see this new season. On a side note will you be adding affiliate links from Amazon , Walmart, Target, Best Buy, solar companies etc? So if we as viewers would like to buy similar products we can use your link to also help Support Your channel and content?
LOL, ya, we may have short term memory loss! You can see Zack's reaction at the end of the video when asked when he will the new build. It's too soon to ask him that. We did add a page on our website of some of our favorite brands, check it out at www.M1087fmtv.com and THANK YOU for asking about that!!!!
So awesome! What do you think is causing the fuel economy difference? Looking forward to seeing how you change up your design. Are you planning to use the second one differently?
Thanks! The difference in mpg is more horse power. We do have a few ideas that will be different, but we have really enjoyed our current design so many features will be the same.
Do both shelters expand the same way with the floor folding upright? Or does the old container floor slide straight out? Also were the dimensions of both containers the same size?
Hi Bob! Well, she DID drive it all the way back to Washington and don't you think that is a clever way for us to have two of them? "I bought you something honey."
Hi. Great question. It will be tough to let go of this rig, we love it! We just couldn't pass up on another M1087, they are so rare to get ahold of. (so far) The second rig has a bit newer truck motor, and a few other advantages, like a bit more space between the cab and the habitat. Also, we are excited to design another tiny house.
I was going to all my truck Bantha as I'm a huge starwars fan... you beat me lol

Sweet 👍
Thanks for the visit
His And Hers! I thought you were selling one! I like the idea of two way better!
We'd love to keep them both, however, we will most likely end up selling one. Time will tell.

Thanks! 👊
So much depression-green!!! Lolz!
Yes, too much green inside, must paint!

I would love to see it in person
We give tours all the time, hope to meet you someday.
Sounds great!

Yes, both shelters expand exactly the same way, floors folding upright. Exact same dimensions as well. Thanks for watching!
So #2 is hers?
