I finally took the plunge and bought iRacing after years of Forza and disliking F124. Join me in my first Global Mazda MX-5 rookies race and i dip my toe into this immersive sim. Can I survive turn 1?

Logitech G29 Wheel and pedals
Ryzen 5 5600x
ASRock x570 Phantom Gaming 4
Intel ARC a770 LE 16gig
Corsair Vengance Pro DDR4 3200mhz 32gig
Vitade 60fps 1080p webcam
Do you find much differnce (timewise) between driving this track on a controller vs the G29?
Haven't used controller at all on here, but I was faster within 2 days on the F1 game.
@@Walynds Thanks, I'm travelling at the moment so can only use a controller for now. I'm hoping to pick up a wheel second hand when I go to the UK. But as I'm a few seconds off the pace, and was wondering if it's just me being bad or if its because the wheel allows slighter adjustments.
@@DeanoRav The wheel definitely allows for smaller adjustments, however I find I'm a bit to gentle from years of controller and not wanting to over correct. You will enjoy the wheel and pedals. I try and not worry about time. I'm miles off the pace in the ferrari challenge GT3 car but it's still fun.
