I was watching this with the audio off while running some scales and I was imagining him saying "is my hair in this pocket? No.. Let's check this one. Shite, another tuner and another capo.. Maybe I can wear a hat and dangle these cables from my head." 😆 Fuck off Glenn 🤘 looks good Colin, keep up the good work.
This is absolutely the BEST thing I have ever seen. I’ve searched for a backpack organizer forever and never knew this existed. I would love one of these for sure!
In the past 8 years I've only used D'Addario strings and now they come out with a fully equipped roadie that fits your back with a FUCKING BOTTLE OPENER!!! Talk about perfection
Lot of gear and space in this backpack :o We've always used a few smaller bags, one for cables, one for mics etc. But this seems to be a much better solution
My first guitar bag/case with all my extra live setting tools was just a regular backpack with a clip to keep the bag zipped up around the neck and a trashbag to keep my guitar safe from the elements.
The bottle opener part kills me. A lot of stuff I've seen designed for musicians includes bottle openers. The container of my earplugs has a bottle opener too. I love how beer is such a universal part of this world that stuff designed for musicians has this stuff designed into it - and I don't even drink beer!
I could never get tired of Colin’s gear reviews. I particularly appreciate how well he always explains the more complex topics. Whoever wins this prize, I’m curious to know how many Player’s Points come out of that pack lol.
What is this Gig thing you speak of? Like streaming in front of people at a designated agreed upon place? Sounds like something Grandpas use to do back in 2019...
I want that! I am not doing too many performances but I plan on taking music and especially guitar to that level. The dream is to play huge stadiums and rock huge crowds. To have this kit will take me one step closer to my dream. Rock on Colin
No doubt that's a very tempting set of useful things and toys, the thought of putting my hands on it almost makes me forget is the weird-Colin-from-an-alternate-dimension the one that took over CSG...
Looks like this could double as a decent camera bag. Instead of cables, fill it with lenses, filters, batteries, and storage, and strap a tripod to the outside.
I've had both a backpack full of cables, that turned in to a rat's nest no matter what you tried to do, and the flip side of some massive plastic tubs which were always fun to carry upstairs. The cable pocket made me cream.
As long as the whiskey is in the bag, the rest is less important. Somehow swigging the bottle before a show makes everything go right no matter how harsh the situation is on stage.
Hey Colin! Another great video, thanks man. Would you consider making a video on impedance, and basic audio electronic components in a guitar amp or loudspeakers? I am studying sound engineering and I cannot seem to wrap my head around it. The videos on youtube mainly explain it in big boy words with none of your clear, cohesive sketches and comparisons :) Thanks for everything my man, Big Love.
Glenn made a video awhile back of a gig guitar repair toolbox and although Id prefer a toolbox as opposed to a backpack, this thing is too damn sick to say no to. Id personally add a multimeter, soldering iron, rosin core, and some zip ties, super glue and some emergency cash.
I, too, think it looks great. Used to have long hair myself for a long time, resembled Dave Mustaine's hair, was just nice to have a change for once and I re-discovered how much bloody easier having short hair is pahaha
@@nicwilson89 same, I had hair down to my shoulders before the Navy. Now I just keep a nice fade and slick it back from time to time. So much easier in my opinion.
Nicely thought through system. That looks truly awesome. Really nice stuff that comes with it, too. The only thing I think that could improve it is a chest belt that would help carry it comfortably when it's loaded up to the brim. As I'm not a gigging musician I'm not going to enter the contest but good luck to all of you who do.
WOW,.. now that's an incredible gig bag. Man would I love to win that, but I've learned sooo much from you and always have a smile inside from your great videos that I already feel like a grand prize winner. Thanks for everything you do for all us musicians everywhere!!

The Scotch is the most important for sure.
I have a strange irrational obsession for backpacks. And being a guitarist, this really gets my juices flowing! Did I say that out loud?
Haircut.... BOOOOOO!
When are you getting yours done?
I was watching this with the audio off while running some scales and I was imagining him saying "is my hair in this pocket? No.. Let's check this one. Shite, another tuner and another capo.. Maybe I can wear a hat and dangle these cables from my head." 😆

@@ScienceofLoud When Reverb apologises.
@SpectreSoundStudios Collin moved to California, and became a beach bum.
@@ScienceofLoud I'm with Glenn on this one (damn, I can't belive I said that)
The bag not coming with a bottle of Glenfiddich is a deal breaker
Just when I thought 2020 couldn't get any crazier, Colin cuts his hair. I think... I think I'm a little sad.
Colin moved to California, and became a beach bum.
True story.
Colin: I don't think've got a soul
Me: Laughs in Ginger
#canrelate
Long hair Collin: ALL THE GAIN!! SLAYERR!!!
Short hair Collin: You should diversify your portfolio bro
Such a cool bag!
I'm a backliner, this would be extremely handy on tour.
Thank you for this giveaway Colin, good luck everyone!
Cable hack, use shower caps to stop your cables getting tangled. You can even use them to label/colour code for length, jack type etc.
This is absolutely the BEST thing I have ever seen. I’ve searched for a backpack organizer forever and never knew this existed. I would love one of these for sure!
I'm not sure what's better - the cable organization compartment or Colin's haircut. Both are great!
Very generous of you Colin. Thank you for creating the opportunity to win this well appointed “Possibles Bag”.
This is perfect. This could come in handy once live gigs comes back.
God that cable organisation part is godly. I’d buy that bit alone
My first guitar bag/case with all my extra live setting tools was just a regular backpack with a clip to keep the bag zipped up around the neck and a trashbag to keep my guitar safe from the elements.
A bottle opener on the bag, but no whisky or mention of a bong compartment. Sucks....
Love your reaction to the 1/4 inline coupler.
I guess the 4 deep pockets can be used to store bottles of whisky, but where would you pack Barry in this bag ?
No need for footswitches or gaffer tape, 4 bottles of whisky are more important.
I feel Barry should hang from the D ring like a charm.
I agree about the cable organiser. I am the worst cable messer. No matter how much work I put down winding I always pull out a tangled mess.
I know it's a great gig kit, but that's the best backpack I've ever seen in my life too.
I love a bottle opener with a cool bag attached...
That is such a cool Bag with everything you need for a gig and maintaining your instruments...
So awesome that you're doing this. Good luck to everyone who enters!
I've been loving you writing more and more these last few months. Great work. Also, thanks for your generosity.

I still remember 2019 like it yesterday....Where have all these years gone?....
I want that! I am not doing too many performances but I plan on taking music and especially guitar to that level. The dream is to play huge stadiums and rock huge crowds. To have this kit will take me one step closer to my dream. Rock on Colin
I don't know what's better. The cable organiser or the bottle opener
The cable pouch is a beauty
Never thought a backpack could be so handy
Glenfiddich?
One of my favorites for sure.
Love the 'essential' scotch bottle! 😂
Thats a sweet bag, lots of other uses to organize a home studio as well.
No doubt that's a very tempting set of useful things and toys, the thought of putting my hands on it almost makes me forget is the weird-Colin-from-an-alternate-dimension the one that took over CSG...
I would defo recommend joining the discord server. Great community, I've had some really great advice and chat. Great to see everyone's gear too.
This is a pretty sweet bag.
Looks really useful.
Definitely love the cable organization
Looks like this could double as a decent camera bag. Instead of cables, fill it with lenses, filters, batteries, and storage, and strap a tripod to the outside.
duuuuuude. i love daddario products. the plastic strap locks/cables clips are amazing.
I was literally drooling this entire video.
This hit me with such a large wave of serotonin
wow, they really went all out on this bag!
Love your channel very educational, informative and entertaining. Love it
Holy hell, I lost it at the coupler :DD
Perfect!
As some one who gigs, with out a car this bag, would be a life saver.
I wish I'd seen this sooner! This would be the perfect kit/bag to help me achieve my dream of being a traveling guitar tech!
How innovative , especially with the unending ocean pockets.🥂
I really watched a 12 minute video about a backpack.. and i loved every single second 😍😅
I've had both a backpack full of cables, that turned in to a rat's nest no matter what you tried to do, and the flip side of some massive plastic tubs which were always fun to carry upstairs.
The cable pocket made me cream.
"Someone in Australia..."
Hey, that's me!!
As long as the whiskey is in the bag, the rest is less important.
Somehow swigging the bottle before a show makes everything go right no matter how harsh the situation is on stage.
Maybe it's because you are so blasted that you don't hear mistakes?
I felt that when you said about looking for one thing that is at the bottom of the box hahaha I have ptsd of that on my gigs 😂
Why aren't there more views on this mans channel. He makes high quality content thats hella useful and informative. Like cmon
Now, that's a good idea... Helpful for musicians and roadies alike (fewer boxes to haul around, sweet)
This brings a whole new meaning to a gig bag
Wait, you’d rather go home with a backpack than a dozen dorks screaming NO MIDS at you?
crazy, right?
11:01 Lol at your reflection in the glass in front of your poster in the top left
Brilliant engineering for practical gigging.

Thanks for everything my man,
Big Love.
YES PLEASEEEE Thats the kind of organization pack and goodies i need! xD
This makes the perfectionist in me very VERY happy! The safely rolled cables gave me butterflies!
I really like the adjustability of this!
The bottle opener got me... I need this ^^
Glenn made a video awhile back of a gig guitar repair toolbox and although Id prefer a toolbox as opposed to a backpack, this thing is too damn sick to say no to. Id personally add a multimeter, soldering iron, rosin core, and some zip ties, super glue and some emergency cash.
That bag looks unreal, it's designed so perfectly for anything you'd need PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Wooow, really love this bag😱 great initiative Colin! Hope the algorithm works and more peolpe get to see your content :)
You’re probably getting a lot of flak for the haircut, but I think the shorter hair suits your bro. Looks sharp.
So much easier in my opinion.
it do be hot ngl
I like my Gruv Gear club bag that I've been using for the past several years, but honestly, this may be an improvement on that design.
I chest strap would be very handy, perhaps an addition for next time if they ever revise the design.
This looks great. Hope a bottle of malt still fits in somewhere :)
I, too, scream loudly when confronted with solid inline couplers. It's the only thing that scares them off.
What a wonderful bag of awesome guitaring goodness 🤞🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
With all the customizeable interiors this reminds me of a giant camera bag.
It looks exactly like my camera bag, with slight differences
I wouldn't say no to an earlier Christmas present. It's the ultimate guitar gigging/setting up kit! Great product from Daddario once again.
WOW,.. now that's an incredible gig bag. Man would I love to win that, but I've learned sooo much from you and always have a smile inside from your great videos that I already feel like a grand prize winner. Thanks for everything you do for all us musicians everywhere!!
As someone who has been on the road most of their adult life i'm stunned this thing hasn't been invented before! I Neeeeeeed it.
Omg the bag is insane, can't agree more about wanting to take the cable organizers home more than anything! Great Video!
That's an incredible bag i need that one a lot!
D'addario's accesories are simply amazing, I've never seen such an usefull backpack, 10/10
This video was very well thought out and made. And the bag is sick.
Thanks, I appreciate the kind words.
Dang. Impressive.
Always a blast tuning in !
Cheers Colin 🎸🍻🤘
Just gonna quote Steve Vai here: "Hair today...gone tomorrow!"
I would have needed one back in the day :) Great video as always!
Cheers bud! Thanks for all the great videos. See ya in the next one!
Thank you. Love thosee gigging essentials, and TATAs.
This Bag is stunning!
Thanks for the Videos and good luck to everyone!
Keep Rockin'🤘🤘🤘
3:38 Comes with gaffa tape...I'm sold. Everything should come with gaffa tape :D
Omg, I never knew I would need a bag like that!!! The bottle opener detail kills me xd
It's always these little details that sell a product for me. I'm a sucker for a bit of novelty with my practicality.
That is indeed the Ultimate Gig Kit. I NEED IT!!
That's a seriously good bag of joy, ace!
Amazing giveaway man! Thanks for giving back !!
Absolutely the best gig rig I’ve see.
Would pair real nicely with my line 6 helix backpack
Man this bag looks lifechanging
Stylish, lightweight, aerodynamic... great haircut!

Glad you liked the bag, good luck to everyone entering!
