❤ amazing artworks
Thank you!😊
I loooove that deer with the frame piece, super inspirational works! 💕
Thank you so much!🥰
What am amazing sketchbook!! All the animals!! I actually made a list of the ones I liked so here goes! 😊
I loved the cat with the leaves near the beginning of the book. And then the mouse with the yellow flowers. Both are somewhat simple but yet perfect. I know making things look simple + clean design is not simple. The black rhino looks happy to me. And of course I like that turtle!! I never heard of the armadillo lizard and I do watch lots of lizard channels... So that is a new one for me. And I love those cats that are in a circle that you drew on a car ride! That second "turtle" is actually a tortoise - is that maybe a redfoot?? Love the zebra!! Its the animal for Ehlers Danlos Syndrome you know - the zebra. I have hEDS so I do like zebras ( and horses of course - I am horse crazy). I actually like all of those feet on your spiderman! Those extra feet give the idea of movement! I had actually thought you drew it that way on purpose to show the movement / swinging. Love that tiger! And I actually like the red in the background of the Bird Nerd pic. It makes me think of the phoenix from Harry Potter which is also a bird, a very smart clever bird I believe. I like the Macy's Ad pic too - its so much "classic 1950s". ❤ the sunset is lovely! And I like bright pink so I love that "Fine" word too - but I dont like to do lettering myself! I would rather avoid it!!
Wow! Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed my sketchbook/art! I can see you're a fellow animal lover, too! Thank you for sharing your favorite pages with me! 😊🫶
Some of your stuff makes me think folk art… adorable and that’s why we continue…progress not perfection…

I never understand why people stick stickers all over their sketchbook (their choice I guess) but also have the need to tell everyone where they got them from? I am here to see the sketchbook not a bunch of stickers! Sorry, rant over, now let’s get into this video.
Edit: After that comment I thought it only fair to comment on the actual content of this video. I like most of your animal art very much my favs being the zebra, that white bird and the kingfisher (love the individual feathers), great job on those, I am curious if you draw from a reference or imagination (that is very challenging for me to do). Also love that page with a quote you did. I love seeing beautiful text! I would enjoy seeing a proper sketchbook from you, you know a place where you just doodle, try things out, make your worst art possible. I am fascinated by such sketchbooks, but it’s also good and freeing for an artist to have such a book where you can just make mistakes and build up your skill to make loose art. I noticed your art is very stiff looking and lacking your own distinct art style for the most part. This is also where I am stuck with my own art journey and only by looking at many other artists sketchbooks (particularly urban sketching) am I starting to see that appealing art can be accomplished in just a few loose strokes and a bit of loose colour. Its good to try several approaches to art, several different subjects, several different mediums. Anyway, you have talent, don’t be afraid to make mistakes or bad art; that is how we learn and grow!
I think they put stickers on the cover to decorate it. And it seems many of the stickers are from other artists / creative people here on youtube so maybe it makes them feel connected to other artists?
Thank you for your comment! This is the first sketchbook I've put stickers on. I always want to decorate my sketchbook covers, but I'm not always sure how, so stickers were fun to try. 🙂
Thank you for your compliments and critiques. It's a definite "art goal" of mine to have messy sketchbooks filled with both good and "bad" or practice art. I'm not too concerned with having an art style as I like to style hop, and I don't see it as a necessity as an artist. I agree with you, there is a lot of beautiful art made from quick, loose and very few strokes! Sometimes less is more! I love exploring all kinds of art techniques, and I want to learn and grow in my own art journey! We'll see where it takes me!! 😁
