A sound test of SoundPEATS Clear true wireless earbuds in comparison to the original track.
True wireless earbuds were recorded with MiniDSP H.E.A.R.S. The recording was later corrected to sound just like the SoundPEATS Clear.

Thanks, really like your work. I don't think these kinds of tests get better than this.
Imo Metal/Rock is the acid test of driver systems. If the high energy congestion of guitars, bass, drums and vocals sound right, every other genre will sound good too.
You can clearly hear the mids thin out here. Lot of EQ required, assuming these are app supported and EQ well.

You're right, metal/rock tracks quickly reveal the differences in tuning, even small ones, whereas pop genres are much more forgiving :D The Clear sound pretty good for the price, but you can't expect excellent technical performance for $30 :)

I want to ask, are the ‘QCY HT05’ buds better sounding than the ‘Clear’ buds? I listen to metal, and I like some bass in my music. I can’t decide which to choose. Maybe I should consider the Soundpeats Air 4 Pro. Any recommendations?

Sadly, we don't know much about QCY earbuds.
But if you like metal, the Air4 Pro are a great pick. They're a bit dark in the treble, so cymbals don't get too loud, and the double-pedal drumming sounds nicely tactile.
On the other hand, EarFun Free Pro 3 have a much clearer sound and more energy in the treble, but the double-pedal drumming isn't as distinct/tactile as in Air4 Pro. ;)

Thanks for the video, it was very helpful. I have a question about soundpeats engine 4 which has a balanced sound character, is it the same as soundpeats H1?
I originally wanted to compare with this Soundpeats Clear, but it seems that the character of the voice is v shape. It is clearly heard when playing the second song. Can anyone help?
