Hello sir. I watched 2 straight copper penny washing shows in a roll. They looked good. In the first show you said you were looking for 1982 and before. The second show you said you look for 1981 and before. Well the 1981 is correct but most 1982 pennies are copper also.. That was the switch over year as most people know. I recently went through 350$ worth of pennies. $50 from the bank and $300 presorted copper pennies that I have had stashed in a wall for almost 40 years. On the bank boxes I got about 1 roll copper to 7 rolls zinc. Of course all the $300 were as I stated presorted and were all copper. I always weigh the mixed 1982's because of all the different large print 1982's and all the small print 1982's Everyone knows that some sell at a premium over the others. 1.Phila. Large copper date. 2. Denver large copper date. 3. Phila small copper date. 4. D small copper date. 5. Phila large zinc date. 6. D large zinc date, and 7. D small zinc date. Quite a lot to cherry pick through. When you are filling up coin books you have to have all. The zinc ones took much longer to find since the 1982's have quite a bit more copper than zinc. Nice to talk with you. Happy hunting.
Thank you for sharing and thank you for your support! It's funny on the 82's I used to use a scale to find the 2.5 or 3.1 ... now, I can feel it in my hand. It sounds like you have a lot more knowledge of these pennies than I do. I mostly just hold onto the 3.1s--Have a great day!
Great video!
Thank you!
