Vardy managed to not only to score over 100 goals in the PL, but he managed to win the league with a team who were fighting relegation scrap the season before. He won the league with a team who weren’t even in the top flight since 2003… The man’s career is literally a fairytale. You couldn’t write a script any better even if you wanted to. You’d be deluded to think Kane has a better legacy over him because of “stats”. Vardy’s managed to beat Kane to a PL title whilst playing in far harder circumstances. You gonna have to do a lot more than just stat padding to prove his legacy is better than that of a player who’s managed to pull off something that may possibly never happen again in the game of football…

That Leicester team wasn’t carried by any individual, they had kante vardy and mahrez all playing out of their skin for sure, but so was the rest of their team, the reason they won the league that year is that they were a cohesive unit the entire time.
